Hi I followed you on ig! I love your channel! It’s better than some bigger RU-vidrs imo! You totally deserve more followers! My mom into outdoor gardening as much as your mom is indoors. She’s never caught the indoor plant bug… But after us watching your mom she wants to get into it now! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I’m Glad I Caught This Video As I As Well Have A Variegated Bambino Growing In Stratum & Was Thinking Of Transferring It To PON. I’ll Wait To See How To Do It. Thank You For All Your Advice/Help. I Watch & Love All Your Videos!!
Just found your channel and subscribed!! Your mother has a fantastic collection. I don’t have any Alocasia but think I need to add one to my home….Will watch more of your videos to learn as much as I can about them. They are so beautiful!! Thank you for the video.
This is interesting I have a reverted Amazonica that’s given me so many corms and the babies first leaves are super high color and then the second is eh, still waiting on the 3rd one 😂. Thanks for the info!
Isn't that so wild!!! People assume all hope is lost when they revert. Heck no!!! Those corms are always var. I'd love to see the pretty leaf you got from your corm 🥰🥰
Hi there. I’ve had exactly the same thing happen. On leaf one I got an all pink leaf then a green leaf then a splattered one and then leaf four I got the most stunning pink and steel grey leaf, hope your next leaf is stunning. Send me a picture, dying to know how the next leaf looks.
Not sure which specifically. But these are the clear insert ones 6-Pack 5 Inch Self Watering Pots... www.amazon.com/dp/B0CH89BB4J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share She adores all her alocasia. They are so gorgeous 😍
Your mother is so patient! I would so irritated if I was trying to explain something I was very passionate about and someone else kept interrupting me. Her collection is beautiful. I think you should be more considerate next time. This is your channel and there are plenty of videos of only you just talking away. Please stop speaking over your mom.
Fortunately for me. We are both very patient with one another when it comes to conversations. I, unfortunately, with my ADHD struggle very horribly with impulse control. I sometimes don't realize I'm doing it. So, I appreciate your patience in sitting through me interrupting her. I asked her if it bothered her. She said absolutely not & she didn't even notice. So that's good. For future videos featuring her. I plan to set a visual reminder for myself to not interrupt. Thank you for supporting my channel, in future I'd prefer criticism to be delivered in a less hurtful way. Thank you.
@@otaku.plants oh. I am sorry about being hurtful. I could have worded that differently. You have a great channel and I usually enjoy your videos but this one annoyed me a bit so I commented in a not so nice way which was inconsiderate. Anyway keep up the great work! Look forward to more videos in the future
@@CCC9437 you're welcome. I appreciate you supporting my channel. People can be sensitive to criticism, so I always try to be mindful when commenting on posts. 🥰
Lovely collection ❤ Can you provide the information on those pots please? I think I’ll try growing my Alocasias in the same manner. Hers are spectacular.
Of course I can. I think some others also asked below. I posted the link. I should edit the video and add it in there. 6-Pack 5 Inch Self Watering Pots... www.amazon.com/dp/B0CH89BB4J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. These are my favorite. Seeing the roots is essential for me
Not sure if you have an Amazon storefront or somewhere you do have all product links posted that you use and recommend, but that would be super helpful. I know I’ve watched a few videos now wanting to know where to get something.
@@otaku.plants I understand, aha. So do I. Maybe just creating a note or word document with all the links to the products you use/recommend. Especially cause there may be some not from Amazon. And then you can save that document to be able to copy and paste into your descriptions.
@@elizabethsexton6927 I will! I will look when I get on my computer tonight. I get asked a lot about my products. So it would make sense to set something up. Thank you for the tip
@elizabethsexton6927 I will for sure. I will actually go look now. I also want to share my household products I love & personal care items. I LOVE sharing
Wow the collection is amazing 😮I start my var Alocasia collection this year and now I want them all 😂. Sadly I am from Germany so I cant by corms in your Shop but after this Video I put all my plants in pon and they love it 😍. I need more Alocasia Videos with more Informations 😍. I wish you all a nice weekend 🥰
I love this and the relationship you guys have is the cutest! What type of fertilizer do you guys use for them? I can seem to find the right one for the alocasias.
I also only grow them in pon. I can't do them on anything else. I'm an alocasias murderer. I will find the link for you. We just typed in clear self watering pots on Amazon

What species is that directly under the merry Christmas sign?? They're all beautiful, I find this one stunning!!❤ (3rd from last plant shown I believe)
Yup, tandurusa. This post was made a while ago. Jacklyn was the name of the person who poached it. If you look on my etsy, you can see the plant is using its scientific name rather than the poached name 😉
What a beautiful Alocasia Collection😊i wanna steel some of those variegated ones. Yes i love growing from corms. Thank you for sharing tips from your Mom. Love your videos💖
Very nice collection and beautiful plants but I get so tired listening because you keep talking while your mother is explaining some important information. Would be nice if you let your mother finish what she is saying and not to talk while she gives really important information about the plants she is holding. Was really good information she is saying. I had to keep rewinding just to filter out what she was saying behind your voice. Overall, plants are amazingly beautiful. Just saying. Peace
We are creating a new video that will be structured around our personal advice & experience. I'll make sure to keep quiet during that informative chat. This was a fun spur of the moment video. When I make videos with my mother, we chat over eachother constantly. 😅 Sorry! I will keep that in mind for future videos.
Your mom as an AMAZING alocasia collection that I can only dream of! Love her!! 😍😍😍 In your experience, have you found the variegation from TC alocasia to revert? It's so hard to tell nowadays which ones are TC or not without directly asking. Even though I think most variegated alocasias are TC'ed, but I could be wrong 😅
Yeah. Honestly, they have all reverted. But the corms always come up var. For the most part. She's going to talk on another video soon explaining it all. I'm sure there are those that don't revert. But from what we've seen. They have all reverted. We still grow the corms
totally right in it being difficult to find info on hour to water this substrate. thanks for sharing your experience with it! Currently growing corms in some, some cuttings, and a rehab silver dragon (Just out of curiosity really) lol
