Sentiva il tempo,!!!!!!!!! Erano gli anni dei Buddy Rich, Mel Torme' etc.... Fred, Sammy Davis, grandi ballerini e fantastici batteristi, straordinari artisti!!!!
This maybe random but for the longest time I kept wondering if her blonde hair had gone greenish for blonde hair reasons but it's the green strap to her hat. lol
The late George Harrison became quite a ukulele player towards the end of this life. He bought many ukes and would pass them out at dinner parties so everyone could play. Listening to Harrison bootlegs I would hear him sometimes strum a familiar song and wonder what it was. A Beatle fanatic I know told me it was Shine On Your Shoes by Fred Astaire. And by golly, my fanatical friend was and is correct! George was groovin' on Fred Astaire. And I thought McCartney was the Beatle who dug Fred the most. Go figure. There is no charge for his history lesson.
Journey well Marge Champion September 2, 1919-October 21, 2020. This is my favorite dance number in this movie. I've watched this too many times to count since childhood. Marge and Gower Champion were an absolutely magnificent dance team. Beautiful memories. May they both rest well 💖
Watching this (again) after Marge Champion's obit. They were a great couple, very well matched in their styles, like Fosse and Verdon. I remember, in my 30s, trying that last step after seeing this number, and I thought I was going to die ...
0.55 pam! He never saw it coming. It's not just how he set the trap and the execution, it's the grand finale, knowing he already has it. That exit for me is the highest moment in human history.
