Greetings what blade are you using here, is it deff, what thickness is victas spectol S1, and what thickness do you have on forehand on Rozena. Thank you
Yes .. it is .. chopping with Short pips is totally different from long pips . The tactics. The chopping action every thing is vertical different. I have played with long pips for many years but when i switch to short pips it was a whole new world to explore.. it was really difficult in the beginning. But after few years i am able to do what i have visioned before .
@@kevalmakwanatabletennis3887 Thanks Keval. Is it true with short-pips you have more options in generating your own spin (spin variation)? More deceptive compare to Long Pips? If you don’t mind, what mm sponge you use for your short pips?
Yes .. short pips gives more variations.. heavy backspin to no spin jn chops. In long pips its more backspin. In short pips u control the opponent’s attack and long pips they control u. Only disadvantage is that shorts pips are difficult to chops and long pips are easy and comfortable to chop , but with lots of practice you can master the chops from Short pips.
@@kevalmakwanatabletennis3887 Thanks Keval. I m playing long-pips chop and considering short-pips but got warning from other it is very difficult to chop. I m considering getting a short-pips coach. Keval, did you learn short-pips chop by yourself (self-learn) or did you engage a coach?
Hello. Have you ever played Spectol S1, but with a sponge 1.3 thick? And also interested in your opinion about Victas Spinpips D3, which are designed specifically for defensive shots? Thank you.
@@kevalmakwanatabletennis3887 Can you please tell me which blades are best for your style and what their pros and cons are? VICTAS KOJI MATSUSHITA OFFENSIVE blades and Butterfly Diode V blades?
Hey, asking for advice, if you don't mind. I have a defplay senso v3, grass d.tecs ox on backhand. Chop is easy, near or far from the table, but I think the backspin is not as good as the one from my other set up, defplay s v3 and hellfire x ox, even though it's easier to do with grass d.tecs. Is it just my technique, or do you think we can make a good backspin chop with d.tecs? Thank you.
According to what I observed in the choppers, they chop the ball late especially with forehand when the topspin on the ball is almost reduced to nill. In this video you can also see in some points where mistimed chop lead to high balls where it is easy to smash for the opponent
Watched your videos and intrigued me to convert from LP to SP. It opens lot more variations imo, and chopping feels easier for me than LP(?). With this setup you can also play as FH SP like Mattias Falck when you're bored chopping lol.
Dear, Very nice technique and contemplation of the ball. May I please ask which thickness do you recommend for the Spectol and the forehand to play your style? As I am planning to change from long pips ~1.2 mm on bh to short pips to also give me better options for counter attacks. Thanks a lot in advance and keep up your greta work.
nice video! could you tell the thickness of the short pips sponge that you are using? Is it spectol? victas s1? and the blade? and what about the fore hand rubber for chopping?
Hey bro, very nice. What forehand rubber you use and what sponge thickness ? And what backhand rubber and sponge thickness ? Blade is Victas Koji Matshushita Offensive? Also do you like the handle of the victas mathsushita offensive ? its not too thin ?
@@kevalmakwanatabletennis3887 according to the description of the s1 the rubber doesn't seem to fit to your playing style, but it seems as if it works. I use the D3 in 1.0 on the Balsa Def. 3.5. I'm not quit sure if the S1 also suits to my blade...
