My GOAL with the channel is to help fellow beginner guitarists with their gear to make the enjoyment with the guitar as friction-less and enjoyable as possible, while teaching me at the same time
From this channel I will help you with guitar gear, amp sims & VSTs and other things related to being a beginner guitar player.
I will also use the channel for covers and my own original music, which will (hopefully) improve over time :)
I bought a headless Delos a couple of years ago and went through the same adjustment with the neck, though I did mitigate this to some extent by going with the thinner neck profile. I had more trouble getting used to the Hipshot tremolo. It's designed to ride in the palm of your hand, where with my PRS the tremolo is thinner and looser and I got used to just holding it with my pinkie finger. But I got used to it, even though I prefer the one on my PRS. However I just got my first hardtail guitar, a Kiesel Zeus, and I've discovered I prefer that most of all. Cheers!

I have a question for Tonex users. My settings are the same as in the video (interface mode, usb dual and instrument input Tonex in2). The volume knob in Tonex does not work. Is this correct?

Unfortunatly you have to measure your specific guitar. The measurements are not identical if i compare my guitar to others online. So it could…but its as likely you have to make some adjustment to it
@@davidtguitar None yet, right now I got 2 Fesley's, 1 I reviewed another on the way. Have to recoup some money. Unfortunately being brand new Im buying all my own stuff
last year they've also teased new Dullahan and Tom Delonge strat (iirc it was names something like st-182 )) those were also supposed to be released this year, and according to people contacting HB those are also "on the way" not sure if those can be considered secret though, as they've been shown on the Guitar Summit, so mb there is more up HB's sleeve
I would rather save my money, and buy an authentic Gibson, or perhaps a PRS Singlecut if I truly want a higher level of craftsmanship, than buy an "affordable" Harley Benton or any other budget brand and wish that I'd had a bigger budget to work with. HBs may be objectively pretty good but they always have that "yeah but it's only a 500 dollar guitar, a more or less copy of a Gibson" thing going on which I can't ever get past....and if you're honest with yourself, you can't get past it, either. Nobody calls his guitar playing friends, excited to show off his new 500 dollar Harley Benton he just bought.
I get your point and like everything its personal and subjective :) Now, i dont have any guitar playing friends, but i actually think I would be excited to show them if I got a beautiful guitar, regardless of the price. My I totally get your point of view, and can see how thats a thing hard to look beyond if you're used to, or dreamt about, Gibsons or Fender.
I'd be way more excited to show off a cheaper guitar of high quality than just paying for the name on a headstock and settling for shoddy workmanship while paying 5 times as much.
Having both of them in my collection, I would highly recommend you to think again. No one purchases a guitar to show off In front of his friends! And lastly, the internet isn't mad over covering the goodness of Harley Benton! it's just like buying a Seiko/Timex over Michael Kors/Rado/Armani. iykyk

I think I'm gonna get the Satin Paradise variant for myself. Not as pretty as the purple burst, but it's the only one with matte neck and graphite nut (could be a mistake in the description though, why would they go with a different nut for just this one color variant?). And I'm kind of a sucker for zebra-style pickups. Too bad they're already out of stock on Thomann, gotta wait for at least two months.
Good choices! Yeah the satin neck and nut is a big USP. They seems to be very popular, wonder if Thomann didnt realise just HOW popular they would be? Hopefully they will be in stock sooner :)
ill be honest im pretty new to guitar playing and im gonna try getting the Harley B Te-40, and how much of a difference would you say the humbuckers will make on that one compared to this model??
Well it will be a difference in sound. But its really just a preference, it might be less noice from a humbucker compared to a single coil, and it will for sure be hotter (stronger signal), so if thats what youw ant, go form it :). But if you haven't play alot, i would put too much thought into it, it will be fine either way :)
I don't have a screwdriver on me because im out of my house and I'm planing on doing push pull coil spliting and new humbucker for brdige on this guitar and i didn't know if volume and tone pots were connected by capacitor or just wire, thanks to you now i know! Thank you very much for showing the wiring!
Glad this worked out for you! I held onto a guitar for 9 1/2 years before finally deciding it just wasn't for me. Perhaps I held onto it for too long. That said, definitely make sure it's the right decision before letting a guitar go. Thanks for sharing your story!
Every guitar player is different and there will be guitars that won't work with the way they play or their style. I'm glad that you were able to make it work for yiu. My Kiesel Delos (not a PM Delos unfortunately) is my favorite guitar as I find it extremely versatile and for me the playability is unmatched by the other guitars in my collection.
I get that feeling more and more, albeit the rest are harley bentons…🤠But most of my playing is on the delos. Most often i switch because i use a HB telecaster at my guitar teachers studio. Am a little nervous taking the Kiesel outside still :)
@@davidtguitar I have some PRS guitars (SE, S2, CE24, Core), Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass, G&L Fullerton ASAT Classic, a Charvel DK24 and an Ibanez 8 string. The Delos neck just feels perfect for my hands. The closest is the Cutlass but the neck is a bit skinnier which is why the Delos wins out for me. I will say that I enjoy playing all my guitars but if I'm trying to work on technique or playing faster, I play the best on the Delos, so thats what I use.
this was great video. I always love when guitar players talk about issues and joys they have with guitars it gives insight into how hard it really is to bond with guitars
I have a focusrite solo and want to connect my Nux mg 30 guitar multi effects into it, and hear the full sound from the headphone out of the focusrite to record in my Reaper. I connect a TRS cable from the Send or Return of the processor to the Audio interface or not?? Pls let me know.. i can hear digital latency sounds coning out of headphones and not getting potential of tone which i can hear while connecting the headphones out from my Nux mg 30 directly
Sir, if you ever had to change the strings on these guitars you will notice that the hole at the slotted top is very shallow. This will make it hard for the end of the string to stay in place while trying to wind the strings. What I did was drill the holes deeper on each tuner. Very cheap tuners these guitars come with smh 🤦♀️
Is it possible to turn off the pure guitar signal in Tonex One and listen to the signal from the application through headphones plugged into Tonex One? When I connect Tonex One to my computer via USB, I hear sound from the application and from Tonex One in the headphones.
i havent tried tonex one, but in the "regular" tonex you can disable the selected tone from tonex and only use it as an interafce. ti do this with simple hold the stomp button for a couple of seconds. have you tried that?
