I went to school with Steve at Gonzaga Prep. Steve was a good guy however I went to Prep because richer families helped pay for my tuition. Steve would bully me and make fun of the fact that I was not in Algebra I as a freshman. He would try and impress upper classmen and call me a punk. Steve however did recognize talent and motivation. Me and Steve are both only 5'10" and when we played freshman football together he would compliment my furiousness on the field (sacrificing my health and body to make a play). It was one of the few times I realized Steve was a good dude at heart and could see the passion and drive hidden within a social construct around wealth and status. I love Steve as a friend and a father, I wish him a long life so River can see what he became as a influencer and father. I want to thank Steve wife for passing along inspiration as the guy known as a "punk" and "loser" now has his Master degree in Engineering from the same college as Steve WSU. Steve from a former bullpup to another I wish you and your family the best and thank you for being a part of my story. One that made me reflect on who and what I wanted to be. God Bless, team Gleason. I keep you and your family in thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, DJ

My husband has been living with ALS for four years now. Many times, as a caregiver, I must work with the best of me even when tired and hopeless. Yes, it is possible to Go on IF I think of The Love I have inside of me and let it guide my thoughts and words. One Day, one hour at a time.
Group 3 chairs like this have wonderful features, but as far as comfortable for the person to sit in for more than a few hours...there are major improvements needed in the seating.
I loved Steve as a Saint. The hope of a blocked punt during the worst time in this city will not be forgotten. But Steve’s legacy which is far greater than any game came at a huge cost to him and his family. You have personally changed the lives of other ALS patients. You have given them hope and the tools needed to productive lives post diagnosis. You are a legend and a Saint in the truest form. Thank you for my cousin. #RunforBacon. I am TeamGleason for life.
My family and I love all the folks at Team Gleason (especially Emily) they played a vital part in assisting our father with the tools he needed to communicate as well as mobilize him to get around. I miss him so much my heart hurts. His loss is profound. Thanks to you all, may the angels above smile on you everyday!
'Safe transfer'? What are you NUTS!!!??? He was a) no where near the bed and b) this is why Medicare refuses to pay. By the way, they do pay for lifts now. You need to be a catheter user. Jeepers...what if moving triggered leg spasms? He'd be dropped. You Kristy, should be fired.
