It was a fantastic afternoon at the People's Park along Rizal Boulevard in Dumaguete with a huge crowd of spectators and expectant participants from the schools to see the performances on stage for SANDUROT PASUNDAYAG 2024 and the many food stalls with so many different delicacies for DumaKaon Ta!
This time I had to do the video recordings all by myself. It was a tough day, but I'm really pleased with the result, especially all the smiling and friendly faces and the warm greetings from the Dumagueteños, and Dumagueteñas, who live up to their nickname of Dumaguete ‘City of gentle People’.
The existing jeepney replacements look more like minibuses and have virtually no means of transporting freight, which is necessary for small farmers in rural areas to transport their produce from the hinterland to the markets.
