You don’t, unless you’ve had eyelid surgery. In those cases, you apply on the outside of the top eyelid at the crease of the eyelid & the eye socket. Refer to 0:57 thru 1:02 of the video.
Awesome video. Not!! Your finger has bacteria on it even after washing hands. The pharmacist said do not put the ointment on your finger as well the instructions on the prescription.
Thanks for the info.....this is NOT the place I would be going to ! I am NOT a proponent of IV drugs for this surgery. It's relatively fast so why drug your patients. I'd rather KNOW what you are doing to my most precious eyes.
The twilight meds don't work on me to relax me as I have been on an anxiety med for 25 years. I just had the 2nd cataract done a week after the first one. I told the surgeon it was painful and he told me I was just feeling pressure. The second one got edema under the cornea requiring extra drops.
I had the operation and after some years problem is back in right eye. Make up is a major irritant. Massage of upper and lower corner of eye helps a lot. Sticky drops for glaucoma may have precipitated the original problem.
You're the best, all other videos say to use the ointment tube directly into they eye, it's nearly impossible it HAS to be done with the finger like you did
I've got pink eye and I bought ointment today, I've been STRUGGLING to apply straight from the tube, it's impossible. So I started using a toothpick but I got scared of poking my eye, so now I just use my finger😭
ok..i think i heard that there will be an injection to the eye? i thought that they use drops to numb the eye?? im totally freaked out ..i know i have to have this done..but im very fearful of something going wrong
I had cataract surgery, on one eye ,and was told my tear ducts were both blocked, but if they clear them the problem could get worse so I left it. I then had the surgery on my right eye, and my eyes have got worse, I am using drops , special cleaning wipes etc. Insead of having that surgery you mention, why can they not just clear the blocked ducts, and is it likely my eyes would be worse after. Thanks
Bhai neomycin & polymyxin B sulfates , bacitracin Zinc and hydrocortisone opthalmic ointment Neosporin - H ye vali ointment kaise h bhai please reply doctor ne suggest ki hai aj muje🥲
Informative, but still I dread this somewhere between a root canal and open heart surgery (had both), cus any screw up & I'm legally blind cus only one eye works .
That’s ridiculous to say it’s ok for a third party like Uber etc to drive you home. You’re likely still going to be somewhat dopey - and vulnerable - because of the twilight sleep. The effects can last until the following day as it gradually wears off. Make sure you’re with someone you know. Not a stranger. Also don’t be alone at home till the next day if you can’t help it. This doctors advice is is just bizarre.
