demoing right now. In the presets there is no sound that calls me. In many RU-vid demos there isnt no sound that that i really like. But... this thing has some funcionality that others do not have. Sure i'll get many sounds out of it. 😊
thank you for this video ! i ask you, do you know if i can use another pad controller to control the arrenger ? for exemple an Novation Launchpad Mini MK3... does it works with other controllers ? thank you
The combination of MIDI Remote and Control Center is so powerful. I originally bought my Maschine Studio to do exactly this, and I never could outside Maschine software itself. Glad I did not sell it. :) I just wish I could use the jog wheel to move the cursor. It works great for "AI Mouse control" though.
People should quit treating these as consumer headphones and realize they are a purpose built tool that they do a great job at. The rest is pretty irrelevant when deciding if you need VSX.
Thanks for making that video, showing this workflow. Really fascinating on the one hand, really disappointing on the other hand. Disappointing because that's "the best Cubase got", and it's lightyears behind what proper live looping is (Ableton/Bitwig). I think it's a pity that Steinberg does not have a third option in between Cubase and VST Live, which allows proper Cliplaunching, Loading Plugins while Playback is active, Launchpad Support, etc.
At 5:31 you're saying to use the computer's sound card. But why would you select that if you have an audio interface? You should select that, not the computer sound card. Also, the notes in f#-minor are the same notes as A-Major. Whatever minor key you're in, the relative major key is a minor third higher. Conversely, whatever major key you're in, the relative minor in a minor third down. So d-minor is the relative minor of F-Major; a-minor is the relative minor of C-major, e-minor is the relative minor of G-major, etc....
btw absolutley love the white noise part. Very cool for creating groove from white noise. I have never even used this plugin even though its built it but will give it a go this eve
Great review man. Twin 3 is yet another tool that I would like to have gotten to know, but the interface is too damn dark and just flat out weird. Not for me at all.
OMG! It really works! I tried this method and got not only punchy kick and clear/loud mix but got rid off that stupid pumpy effect at maximum loudness of my phone speakers! You won't believe how excited I am about this method └|∵|┐♪ ♪┌|∵|┘♪ Thank you!
Cubase is the one for sampling, makes Ableton look like a toy, Steinberg are killing it, & i know its not cubase but now Halion is the best soft sampler ever made.
great video,,, have you tried doing this same thing (controlling arranger events with your pads) with the newer lower zone remote setup as opposed to the studio legacy setup?
@@Tutorial_ism It's one of those situations where you must find what people find valuable yourself. You peaked at 13k subs for a reason. You admit you're not a competent audio engineer and your content didn't appeal much to DJs. You were fighting an uphill battle when you were active.
@@NameInvalid I very much appreciate the time you have taken to go through the videos and the comments and I promise you that it was time well spent. I will no longer enetertain myself in this manner from this day forth. You have my word!
@@NameInvalid I am so upset right now you can’t even imagine, way beyond what you could have hoped for. It has been so refreshing hearing from you. I just wish you could have found me sooner. Imagine all the pain you could have helped me avoid
Element version doesn't have scale assistant, does it please? I use element version, many functions likely not included in the element version (as, . I wish there will have some tutorial videos especially for element version. ^.^~~~ Thank you so much~~~
Thanks for the video. I liked mix A, so I'm glad I chose the CTZ mix otherwise I would have questioned why I'm bothering learning this technique lol. I just watched a bunch of @Baphometrix videos but I still had questions. Like you I put his lessons to work on a track I'm already working on. It was quite difficult to implement for an existing track lol. Hard to maintain the existing character of the track while going back and pushing as loud as I can. Like @Baphometrix mentioned, I think it simply exposed some existing mix issues that I had to spend time correcting lol, but overall I really liked the final product. Your video helped me confirm that I am approaching the problem correctly. One thing I need to do though is create the bigger buses for "leads" and "drums" and "pads" and such. I've really enjoyed learning the process and using an oscilloscope to fine tune things. Anyways, thanks again lol!
