Awe, I'm sorry for your loss! Like you, I have a lot of great memories with my parents (they're both passed now), and nobody can ever take those precious memories away from us :-)
That's a really good performance. (As one cross-handed lap player to another, try putting the right hand on top. The chord hand is limiting your motion and access to notes).
Thank you! I just tried what you suggested and it feels so strange to me! I do have another autoharp that is reversed so I don't need to cross my hands, but that one doesn't sound as pretty so I don't use it as much. I would love to get a custom autoharp one of these days! ( but my house needs new windows first..... lol )
Nice cover. Pretty hard to beat the magic of the Nanci Griffith/John Prine song though. To me, Nanci Griffith was special and she is sorely missed. Thank goodness for RU-vid that her voice will be available for years too come to enjoy. RIP Nanci.....
