That timing is so tight that I didn't even bother doing it consistently XD The thing about this guard is that for some cases I just need to be in an hit zone and immediately guard with 5 frames or lower timing (playing at 30-50 fps) as the game is a little bit desynchronized in the movement and hitbox. You can test it with any boss with wide and fast attack or a training dummy. Like the sword/tail/attack traces already appear but your character take some frame to register the attack. Gonna wait for a mod to make the guard and dodge timing/frame for perfect moves longer. If even there will be one (I still can't find one for MH world longsword iai slash thing T-T)
I am just praying that DD2 makes warrior more balanced cause holy shit it sucks to fight certain enemies as them. Daimon's 2nd form is straight dog water as warrior. You either spam jump attacks on his legs and do less damage cause they're armored or you climb him and spam attack his face and hope you don't get one shot from a spell he's casting.
How are you instantly going into his 1 square 1 triangle button max combo without having to build it up first? Feel like im missing something with this character.
They should've just taken some stuff from Monster Hunter's greatsword if the jump attack and some mounting is all a warrior can do for practical damage.

However, when i tested this, assuming he buffers 6S as soon as he can after 5S, uncharged 6M seems to work pretty consistently, especially considering after 6M SM players tend to just pop the orb and continue pressure that way (which grapplers uncharged 6M works against most of the time)
You actually have to delay the first 623H by a frame after the first beyblade lol, this combo is pretty difficult. You also can't delay any other part or the second 623H wallsplats, thus removing some pushback from it and getting you a full super
@@JalisR Dude that one tip got this whole combo for me down. also its pretty universal with slashes and HS, so I found out you can TOD Ky with 0 RISC and 0 blood gauge or not level 1. if you do C.S-2s-5HS get counter hit, then combo. does 422. thought i let you know sense i found this combo from you.
Nice bro, so you can shield block that Malenias flurry attack? Is it just that shield that blocks it or any shield is ok? Also did you max out your grafted greatsword? I am also using the grafted greatsword so wanted to see how people were doing with it end game. Did you have any problems with any boss using the grafted greatsword or you loved the weapon? Please heart my comment and reply so I can see. I can only see replies for hearted comments as I turned of notifications for normal replies. Is grafted greatsword good endgame? I am in mid game now.
UGS kinda suck but I respecced to STR for this area so I figured I'd finish it like that anyway. I did not waste a +10 stone on the weapon. Any shield can block, there are no special shields that allow you to block otherwise unblockable things.
"Warriors are a really weak class." You make me laugh. If you use them correctly, its actually, very strong. But I liked the video anyway because Daimon fights are amazing and Dragon's Dogma music is just beautiful.
I just reached awakened form hard mode as a mystic knight. I nearly uninstalled the game because of how frustrating it is. Like he can do 3 moves in the time it takes me to cast anything, and then magic cannon was doing literally zero noticable damage, even with Devilsbane and holy enchant. Then I fucking loaded up on periapts and was able to take him down, but it felt dirty. Then I saw people saying try ranger, so I did that with explosive arrow and periapts and it was still tough. Right at the end, I tried climbing and face stabbing the dude, and holy hell that was actually doing dmg. I switched to strider with adhesion and the climbing str bonus..... and wow. Suddenly the fight is easier than it was on my mystic knight while loaded with periapts. Welp.
@@JalisR oh shoot, I looked it up and I actually saw your video a day or two ago. I dunno what to say, I simply just do not see remotely the same damage. I'm using devilsbane, holy trance, great cannon. When I hit awakened form, his health bar does not move unless I slam down periapts. At that point, it jumps from a technical impossibility to comically easy. I even had essnetially the same augemnts, just not vehemence and attunement, but I was using bloodlust instead. I can't imagine the difference would be that monumental. I dunno. Either way, I just found it frustrating to do the dance of "can i stand still for a second, or is he gonna hit me with 5 moves before I can cast?" So strider is what I'll farm him with :P
@@JalisR update, I've improved the situation. I added the 10% strength and magick augments. I also got Virge of Madness and gold forged it. I did not change my abilities. When I hit him before, I literally could not see his health bar move. Now, there's decent chunks out of his health with every hit. I've herad the armor/magic defense in this game works on a flat value instead of a % damage decrease. That means there's a threshhold of damage you have to pass before you start seeing noticable damage. I guess that's what happened. These little changes pushed me over the threshhold, and now I can see decent damage on his health.
@@skywalker1217 forward tag or hold tag during the special move and yes it works for every character. Just keep in mind you can't extend easily off of specials that end in sliding knock down unless you have a something like base Vegeta's or DBS Broly's 214S grab
