Welcome to the channel of a Gen X atheist and philosopher. I've written 2 books on secular philosophy and have had radio, television, and speaking engagements. My motto is may the best argument win!
1. Sanders and Sinema are independents, not democrats. So they really shouldn’t even be relevant here. 2. It makes sense that some democrats would oppose the bill because the bill appeals more to republican policy than democratic policy. 3. Biden/Harris needed key republican votes to push it through and that is precisely where Trump’s influence becomes significant.
@@everythingstemporary603 Of course he ran under the democrats. There are only two parties who can actually win, and his views align more with theirs. Running as independent would’ve been a guaranteed waste of time and energy. Overlap with a petty does not equal registration with it. None of that changes the fact that they had the votes and Trump used his influence to take away those votes. The bill would’ve made a major win for the border crisis and Trump doesn’t want any solutions until he’s elected. Trump wants to use the issue to improve election odds.
@@Symphoniics They never had the votes, the bill was a disaster. Biden/Harris immediately removed Remain in Mexico and other policies Trump put in place to stop illegal immigration. Biden intentionally flooded the country with illegal immigrants. They then repeatedly lied and said that the border was secure until it became a political issue. Before being elected Biden talked about flooding the country with immigrants. The only way to blame Trump for the border crisis that Biden/Harris created is to have your head in the sand.
Buffy didn’t only jump into that energy field to save Dawn. She did it partly for herself too. There was that moment in an earlier episode where she said “I just wish that-“ She made it about wanting her mother back, but really she wanted to die. To be free from the burden of being a slayer. That’s also what they took from her, bringing her back.
The term white fragility or black fragility are racist. CRT is racist. BET is racist. Black congressional caucus is racist. DEI or Equity bill are racist!
I’ve always thought that spike was the better one for Buffy from the very beginning and that is because he truly loved her when you truly love somebody their life is more important than you are very existence and that’s what Spike does here he stops her from self-destruction.
She’s right this life is hell… but it’s interesting how her sister tosses the words right back at her that she tossed to begin with just before she died at her.
The scene where they forced her back it’s just wrong and I could’ve told them that I’ve met people who have died and they have been gently called back. I’m one of those and I can tell you they never want to be called back because the place is a place where there is no pain Where there’s just peace I mean maybe it depends on your soul and what you believe. I’m not sure I just know I’ve experienced it and I’ve known others to have and those who have and have been forced back then never really happy about it. Their exceptions to every rulebut I think they were wrong me personally I think Buffy is a magnet for trouble. There is a saying among my people God never gives a plague without their being a cure. Now I think it’s something like that. I’m probably misquoting it, but you get the idea.
ok if there god why is there so much unhappiness in the world then and why is there death in the world if there god why don't the god show himself and help people out then
Great scene when it was realized what she had to do. But I wanted to keep the general theme that was in my head at the time, and I thought including that part might be too distracting.
When the left wing goes too far, it can result in a range of consequences that often spark controversy and resistance from other political groups. Policies that emphasize excessive regulation, censorship, or suppression of opposing viewpoints can backfire, leading to a sense of alienation among the general population. This often fuels polarization, as people may feel that their personal freedoms, such as freedom of speech or individual rights, are being undermined in the name of progressive values. Additionally, extreme left-wing policies can create social and economic imbalances, such as overly restrictive government control, leading to pushback from those who believe in market-driven solutions or who prioritize national sovereignty and traditional values. This type of overreach can also result in public backlash, protests, and a greater demand for centrist or right-wing alternatives, as people seek balance and moderation in governance. Ultimately, when the left goes too far, it risks alienating not only political opponents but also its own base, which may not fully agree with radical measures. This can weaken the left's influence and open the door for alternative ideologies to gain momentum.
After watching this entire video, this only strengthen my faith and a fun challenge for my faith/knowledge. Thanks dude, God bless yall, Christ is the truth🗿✝️
I love the way the piano’s sound changed when she said « and now I’m not », it got lower and darker. Everything is so subtil in this show, it’s brilliant.
I think the guy who made this needs to think about the way racism was invented as a tool of colonialism to justify the slave trade and how this mode of thinking still dominates western discourse today. Knowing the evolutionary reasons for the variation in skin colour does not explain what whiteness means today. I would recommend The Wretched of the Earth by Franz Fanon.
Racism is a result of tribalism. It's not something that was invented. White people were slaves of other white people. Black people were (and still are today) slaves of other black people. Native Americans had black slaves. The English and the Irish have hated each other. The Catholics and the Protestants have hated each other. In regards to skin color, there is a convenience aspect of easily identifying run away slaves. The term "whiteness" doesn't mean anything. You think toothless coal miners are privileged? Are the young white men that commit suicide at the 2nd highest rate of any demographic doing so because they are privileged? That's why they're slitting their wrists, blowing their brains out, ODing on drugs? You don't sound like you've done any research or thinking for yourself. You sound like you're just brainlessly repeating leftist ideology that you've been indoctrinated with. Robin DiAngelo is not any kind of intellectual, she's a moron. She's a racist who's projected her racism on all white people to make herself feel better and has made a fortune off of white guilt. There's nothing more pathetic than a self-hating white leftist. According to the sick "group identity" ideology, we're not supposed to be color blind meaning we're supposed to stereotype black people. This real racism is obvious when you hear white leftists make comments that black people can't get a drivers license or know how to use a computer. I'm not going to treat anyone like that simply based on how far someone's ancestors lived from the equator. I treat people as individuals. If you want to know who someone is, you need to talk to them. Don't assume that they are a victim. Maybe they had a worse childhood than you did, maybe they had a better one. Maybe they have a higher IQ, maybe they don't. Maybe they're better looking, maybe not. Maybe they have a greater athletic ability, maybe not. There's millions of aspects of humans, why the sudden hyper focus on race? And why did it come about right after the Occupy Wall street movement? Coincidence? And has the whiteness obsession brought people closer together? No, people are more divided, but that was the intent. Think about it.
@@everythingstemporary603 lmao I stopped paying attention at "toothless coal miners". I imagine in your head you have an image of a television series based on a charles Dickens novel. Today white coal miners are amongst the highest paying jobs in the world and yes, they are privileged. There's no "sudden focus on race", it's been the focus of the white nations since the Renaissance.
Hey have fun dealing w/the gospel. The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who don't believe. God is still eternal and outside of any and everything you or I could ever fully understand. God is God, that is never gonna' change. You need to stop trying to understand and just believe❤
Some blacks can quote every scripture in the bible but can't quote one thing about economics and building. Imagine that! How good is that bible if you can't use it to better yourself and community. That bible teaches you how to give your money not earn, unless you're the preacher.
Spike really helped lead her to make peace with who she really was, the reasons for her self hatred her selfishness or inability to see or make peace with love which she rightly deserved and got from others and him. He knew she struggled to make peace with and understand as he did that she rightly deserved love. It was only at the end when he was dying did she finally understand but as extreme as it was it's what he wanted.
The line about Jesus "dying for our sins" is utterly bizarre. If we were to emulate Jesus, and there were a man who committed murder and was about to face death penalty, should we rush in and say, "No, please, put me on the electric chair instead, so that this sinful murderer and go free"? If we are "saved from our sins", we should we not just go sin as much as we want, and wait to be forgiven? If we are "saved from our sins", why do so many Christians enjoy telling people that they are going to "burn in hell"? Christianity only goes to show how many gullible, impressionable, irrational people that there really are in the world.
There is NO contemporary evidence that Jesus ever existed. The Romans invented him to stop the Jewish Revolts. It worked beyond their wildest expectations. Then, manufacturing evidence and "relics of the saints" became big business. Check out "the Flavian Conspiracy."
it's so crazy to me that someone could spend their entire day out there protesting when it would have taken him 2 minutes to watch the full unedited video to find out for himself. it's like people are comfortable living in a vacuum of fictional information and comfortable in their own delusions. It's like a cult of mindless delusion.
After over 7 years, and now even Snopes stating this was false, I would hope most people who used to believe this now realize it was a lie. And hopefully they're pissed off that they were lied to.
Not having a soul doesn’t mean you have no emotions. Just that you have no inhibitions. You simply don’t care about anything but desire and survival. Spike was already an emotional person even before becoming a vampire. Kinda like playing up Willows lesbian side early with her meeting her vampire.
Spike is the insightful idiot character. He's foolish, impulsive, not much of a thinker, but he sees clearly things that are obscured to others. It's an archetype.
@@jenthebubble1914 Angel was cursed to never be truly happy. Made him quite the grumpy pants lol. Spike was never deprived of that option. He was free to seek it. I like rewatching the scene when she was brought back and only Spike could truly understand. Xander realized but Spike is the only one who realized how awful it was for her.
They never really showed what happened to Barnaby at the end. Whether he escaped or was captured. Last I saw he was trying to get away. I think he ran into something and three blocks fell spelling the word Rat. And that was it.
One word for those of us that were devoted to these programs.....Stingray !!! Marina , aquamarina. **giggle* i look back and think just hiw did i not see the strings.😂.
Giant robot was my absolute favorite TV show back in the 70s. When I was 6 or 7, I would sneak off to my friend's house to watch it because my mother would only allow us to watch 1 hour of TV in the house and only after we practiced the piano for 30 minutes. LOLL... the good old days
