Hi, IMDS is something totally new for me. This is a really good introduction! I would appreciate more videos like this :) I go through the long manual and recommendations but seeing a video makes it easier. Right now I must request MDS from my supplier (they manufacture a component - LED). Greetings from Poland!
I have to start training in IMDS at work and I'm basically clueless. I'm in the system and have been watching videos and doing TEST MDS for practice here and there. I know how to read the BOM, and can create the Component. Its when I start doing the sub components I tend to get lost.. So my question is how long did it take you to get comfortable with IMDS? I'm basically being throw into the fire come next week too do this with no experience. Regards
It took a long time for me to understand what I was doing. Keep working on it. I did the video because some of the instructions were confusing. It’s easier once you’ve got a library to work from.
