@@Bigband78 The 26th, eh? You're Zodiac sign is Pieces!😁 Ahhh, I LOVE the Honeymooners...Jackie Gleason also plays beautifully on the violin. Johnny Cash as well? Too cool.💖
This is just what I needed - old songs and the voice of Lee Morse - one of the defining voices of an age - alone with Al Bowlly, Elise Carlise, Sam Browne, and Connie Boswell
Fantastic ! The Biltmore trio sound exactly like they did when they sang it in the Holywood Revue! Young starlet Joan Crawford did her dance moves to this! Great souvenir record of that great all singing, talking, dancing picture! Must add, you've got the best pictures of the famous Biltmore Trio I've ever seen!
I call this number 'Ghostly' the 1920s and 30s - unintended perhaps - were good at these 'Out-of-way' songs - think how well 1930's numbers support a film such as The Shinning - memory songs if you like - that can be a form of haunting

Hi BigbandLou, i write here to ask if you knows / as still posted a song, from maybe 40´s ? 50’s? I just remember the song was like « girl next ( or back..) door.. », kind of blues? The singer was an Afro american woman, but I missed her name too… if you have any idea I will appreciate a lot !! Thanks in advance :)
@@Bigband78 thanks for this way! Isn’t this song, the lady who sing isn’t so famous ( I think), it’s an old memories, I will maybe one day found this song :-). Thanks a lot for your help !!
Nostalgia is a powerful thing. Jackie Gleason was certainly no paragon of virtue, but compared to most of what passes for entertainment and entertainers today, the man was an absolute saint!
Paul Whiteman's Orchestra had a uniquely colorful and rich orchestral sound, and as was to be expected, this catchy performance is outstanding. Thanks a lot for sharing, Lou!
@@Bigband78 That's a very big band, almost the size of a symphonic orchestra :-) I didn't know his daughter lived close to your place... What a great coincidence.
The memories this man has given me, the music, the comedy all have carried me through some of the most difficult times of My Life as a child, now that I am an adult I can look back in those memories are just as Vivid now as they were then, a masterpiece!❤
I remember making this years ago,and didn't know what they were saying so i put all kind of strange photos on it.Should have listened to Granny&Grandpop[ who spoke in Hungarian&German.
@@ladycallidora Mine go back about 15 years. You have to change the settings on some older vids. The part where it says "Is it ok for children to view?" I always say No
