SEW by virtue of what it stands is very much like an abstract painting or passing clouds on a windy day - it can be whatever you want it to be.
Had a busy week and missed out on important sporting events? We got you covered.
Spotted a starry-eyed young lad on loan with the feet and poise of a ballet dancer? We'll discuss what it means for his parent club.
Bubbling with energy after an "Aguerooooo" esque moment and don't know what to do? We'll try to put your emotions into words.
I hope they can but i dont think they will. The mindset is always safe approach nd u can c that in the selection of the squad. Wcup final is the best ex...the moment the pressure comes at the biggest of stage...they literally choose the timid approach. Really think rohit, kohli, jadeja have past there time in white ball format....in wcups atleast. Hardik and pant s selection has been based on optimism nd reputation. They would have served if the squad was a younger one.
I disagree with the assessment that Madrid pulled out, "Black Magic" against City which is disrespectfully degrading the commitment and tactics implemented by them for a well-earned draw. In fact, they actually had a few chances which they could have finished off, if only Bellingham had a better game. Apart from that, Vini's work rate was amazing, Rodrygo's IQ is underappreciated, Kroos' press-resistant play is second to none, Rudiger totally nullifying Haaland and Valverde with a whole-hearted performance adding the goal to his repertoire. Yes, City dominated the played and controlled the tempo etc. but Madrid had a deliberate tactic in which they shaped up their defence to make City not find spaces in the centre and had 2 attackers upfront who could find spaces out of nowhere through the counter. I agree with most things said about Barca and the Bayern-Arsenal game. Good episode. Thank you.
We do agree that Kohli is an asset to any white-ball team. But we also agree that no one is immune to criticism. There are some memorable knocks from Kohli over the years where he has won matches for India, single-handedly. But the current Indian bench strength can give a run for your money even if you are the best.
@@SportsEntertainmentWeeklywaiting for your video on real "elephant in the room" Rohit Sharma but you're not any different from just propaganda peddler!
Bro Kohli had higher strike rate than Warner in 2016 how can you call yourself and analyst if you don't do your research, quite ironic considering the confidence you speak with please get your facts right and stop spreading misinformation
We acknowledge that facts can sometimes go slightly off when we quote from memory, and we apologise in case we were wrong. We are part-time, arm-chair commentators and critics, not professional full-time cricket analysts. We are having fun and all of us love the great game like you do and our intent is not to spread misinformation. Kohli and Warner in 2016 were not very different players in terms of runs or strike rates, is what our notes tell us.
@@SportsEntertainmentWeekly all cool no worries but just be slightly accurate with the stats I also agree your point of views but I do feel there is still place for anchors in t20 cricket as it allows the hitters more freedom to go from ball 1 and moreover I am saying play 2 3 anchors but one anchor is still required again this is just my opinion I might be wrong as well but just having hitters is one dimensional
@@rsaisourabh4938 Thank you for giving your feedback first up, sorry for not giving the stats a little more context. VK had a SR of 152 in that season with 640 balls faced, and Warner a SR of 151 with just 560 balls. The whole point was the fact that VK consumes more deliveries to reach a higher SR. A higher average is a problem in T20s, it’s not the great thing that ppl think it is.
Liverpool have every chance of winning the league the way they played yesterday but some of the decision making upfront of Nunez especially and Salah was appalling. This must not become a theme or they might have similar such games. The first half football from Liverpool was other worldly, it was a by product of all the hardwork Klopp has put in all these years. Hope he leaves with a title in his hand
I would love to have a glorified bully like Warner in my team if he/she can deliver on the day that matters. Ex - 2021 WC SF 2021 WC Final 2015 WC Final
Im Australian, and warner was an absolute disgraceful example of an Australian. He along with his cheating mates should never. Have been allowed back playing after cheating. A huge embarrassment to all true sports fans of Australia.
I agree it was an embarrassment and was tough to deal with for every Aussie sports fan. But they reformed, got reintegrated into the team and have been playing for a while now. If anyone should have a problem with it, it should be the current team. But they seem pretty okay and forgiving of Smith and Warner. The questions we should ask ourselves is - Do we want our lives to be defined by our biggest mistakes? or do we want to be forgiven if we have served our sentences? Is there something called a second chance?
@arafatkhan2093 No man, they were making millions of dollars in pay and advertising endorsements. So basically, tell kids it's okay to cheat because it will be forgotten no. It was disgraceful, a captain and vice captain! No way, man, they should have been bared from competitive cricket .
@@matthewpowell9403 Mate, I agree what they did was wrong. No excuse will justify what happened. What kids watching them should learn is - "when you cheat, you will lose a year of your career, your reputation gets tarnished, you will have to work your backsides off to prove to the world that you are capable of reforming and it's all hard for not just you, but your family, friends and teammates". So it's not okay to cheat. Millions of dollars can be made even without playing cricket, just writing bios, giving interviews to Fox, 7, WWOS, Amazon, etc. If that was the case, they would not have fought their way back into the team to play a few more years, putting body on the line to save every single run. Some people love work and do it for passion. Beyond a point on the affluence scale, a little more money does not matter much. I don't disagree with you one bit that it was disgraceful from Smith and Warner, being leaders of the group. Cannot be forgotten for sure, but forgiveness is something they can earn.
More than anything, pre sandpaper gate, post sandpaper gate, something I loved abt Warner was in how he remembered Hughes every time he walked out at the SCG. And that hundred in 2014 in his honour
The fact that Sameer Rizvi went for a high price means that there were others interested in him, ppl hailing him as the right handed Raina. Quite an explosive middle order batter
It wasn’t just the Indian spinners, Pooja Vastrakar deserves an incredible shout. The ball to NSB, and now the entire Aussie top order this time around. Bat and ball, Pooja was excellent
Also to add to what you guys said, Green’s transfer wasn’t actually the smartest move pulled by an otherwise excellent management. Green could’ve been the ideal replacement for Rohit, the top order batter. And given Hardik’s obvious decline with bat (in terms of finishing) I don’t see how that move made a lot of sense to them (given Hardik’s tendency to often play as a pure batter). Green could’ve been your investment for the next 10 years.
To add to that, Green does best while batting in the top 3, and RCB already have Faf, Virat, Patidar, and Maxi in their top 4 and displacing any of these 4 players would mean that they don’t get the best out of them. And to think they have someone like Allen waiting in the wings as well. Green at 5 or 6 just does not have the numbers to support his cause. And is still very raw as a T20 bowler, and I really don’t think RCB’s the place for him to hone those skills. Don’t think it was a smart decision from either team to do what they did.
Thank god people are not watching your shi*😂😂 and I dont even know how it came on my feed. First of all, last 3 world cups are won by the team who has hosted. So according to your point they all are fixed. COOL. Second how the F even you expect to keep the semis in south and north, and not in stadiums like Mumbai, Kolkata, and Motera! You want the semi in dharamshala??? Wow you would be the worst businessman ever then. The straight fact that these venues will bring ICC and BCCI the staggering amount of money is the reason the matchs are being played in Mumbai, kolk, and Guj. Third, pitchs are always made by the home ground people, in last worldcup or worldcup before that who ever was hosting they made the pitches, you forget that Indian player never complain about going out on away pitchs and finding difficulty in playing, cz we know everywhere around the world it happens. So probably shut your show and just forget cricket. Watch something else. Would be better for cricket and fans like us. And bringing that point of stadium named after modi here in this conversation was as useless as this whateve dollarstore podcast is.
