@@Aefax nah I'm more wondering when the Falco is going to show basic counterplay or respect for DK's options also if that's all you're seeing then I don't think you understand what's going on
@@MojoMonkey sorry you're right there are at least 2 other ways that the DK spams backair in neutral and waits for the other player to approach also this is a marth video?? are you sure you know what's going on in your own video there, sport? i don't see a falco?
idk if I'd call him a DK prodigy, he's a pretty oldschool player that picked up DK a few years back. Also from my understanding he doesn't really "train" he kinda just plays--not to diminish his skill at all he is one of the best DKs atm. personally I'm on the da train, hope they can start attending majors soon
DK's b-throw isn't actually that strong, and DK has kill confirms like up-throw up-air which kills at around 130% on DL, and works until well past 200%. It's usually better to go for this unless you know b-throw will kill, or you just want to set up for an edgeguard
@@MojoMonkey Can’t it kill early if they don’t di correctly tho? If you don’t pummel and back throw instantly you can catch bad di to send them for enough for no recovery.
@@Young-bx2pf it can kill earlier and also set up for edgeguards, but the knockback is still a bit underwhelming if they DI properly. DK has so many guaranteed combos and kill confirms on Marth it's often not worth it
Do you have a specific setting in the controller to do the small jumps? I got project 64 but haven´t found the correct settings to do the small jumps, that´s the only thing I need to do the combos properly.
he mashed out and I was able to instantly jump and up-b. it's pretty reactable when they mash out but I was a bit lucky to not only make it back but get the kill lol
