Thanks for sharing! I feel inspired to start teaching, from my passion for learning and love of teaching. The only thing holding me back is probably my personality. I'm super ambiverted, some days I'm out going and ready to face the day and other days I'm super introverted and have a hard time being social.
You’re an amazing teacher! Those kids will always remember you and cherish those memories. Goodbyes are seriously so hard! 😭 I’m starting my alternative credentials this year and hoping to also teach 1st grade. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher but was too afraid I wouldn’t be ready for it. I feel like I am now and can’t wait to start my journey. Atm, I’m an assistant for preschool! Great video! 😊
This was such a beautiful video, Liz! Those kids most definitely will miss you very much. You left them with memories they will never forget. They will run back to you when the new School year starts and you will be so happy to see them again!! I love your videos and you are a true inspiration. I'm beginning my Teaching journey soon. I started late (I'm 25 now) and just enrolled in my University's Elementary Education program. These videos you make truly help me to know what it is like in a classroom, please keep making them! 💛💛 - Diamond
I saw a comment asking if you teach from your desk. No one realizes that maintaining the childrens privacy is the most important thing. Not only that but you use your computer and things to display the material. I know you're not sitting there all day, oh trust me, theres no way you just can't! They need so much from you😅
What is your favorite activity that you like doing with your students? Like you too I am a teacher but High School. This past school year was my 20th year. I teach Social Studies for the upper high school. Enjoy your summer break. When do you end your school year?
My daughter is in grade 1 currently so this was interesting to me! Although we are in the Australian school system but it seems fairly similar to this. Thank you for all you do for your kids, just know as a parent we really appreciate it 💕
Hi Liz!! 🤗 I just found your channel & I really enjoyed this video!! I really enjoy seeing a day in the life of people who work 9-5 /everyday jobs, they are my favorite vlogs. 💕
hi! thank you for making this video, it was so fun to watch! i'm also 22 right now, about to start grad school to get my master's and teaching certificate, and was wondering if you had time to answer some questions that i had about the teaching profession. if not, that's totally fine! 1. how do you like working in a private school? 2. if it's not too much to ask, how do you feel about your salary as a first-year teacher? i know salaries differ widely due to district and schools being public/private, but i was wondering if you felt stable with the amount that you were making! this is something that i'm kind of scared about as an aspiring teacher and was wondering if you had any input on it 3. did you pursue a master's + teaching credential program? if so, do you think the location of your school has influenced where you teach? i want to teach in socal, but the grad school that i'm thinking of going to right now is in norcal feel free to answer all or some of these questions! thanks for making videos :)
I'm from Vietnam, I'm interested in studying abroad to become a preschool/ primary teacher and work abroad as well. But I'm afraid that I might not be able to work in other countries (like in Europe or Australia,...) as an Asian since English isn't my mother tongue. Is it true?
I also just discovered this channel. I used to work as a middle school resource counselor. Now I am a middle school teacher for gifted and talented students.
Omg feel you on always trying to hydrate! Even on the days I do hydrate its not like I’m going to get the opportunity to use the bathroom lol keep it up!
I have been teaching elementary school for 30 years, and it is good to see how young teachers motivate and engage their students to learn. Lysol always comes in handy. Before I go home, I run around my classroom and spray away because we all know that little kids are walking petri dishes when it comes to germs.
