When the bike stopped, We used to toss a nightstick into the spokes of the bike, it prevented the rider from escaping. Then the rider would run, we did NOT go into a foot pursuit, we impounded the bike. One bike at a time, the bikers began to abide by the VTL. The impounded MC’s went to auction. Those were the days when the PD commanded slightly more respect than is given now. Presently we have a total disregard for the law, and those who are sworn to enforce those laws. Ask yourself how did we get here ?

Engineered wood fiber IS NOT AN ACCESSIBLE GROUND SURFACE for those using mobility devices like wheelchairs and scooters or those using crutches. The moment anyone walks, rolls, kicks the engineered ground surface material, the fiber will no longer be firm, stable, and slip resistant. The engineered wood fiber will no longer be an accessible surface!

I hope the Town will conduct Neighbor Notification for all residents around all the parks that they intend to spray pesticides. As well, that the Town realizes that pesticides always have unintended killing of non-targeted species, such as non-hatmful, beneficial insects, birds, small mammals, and the Town will heed the advice of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation prior to application of pesticides at any Town park.
🙌🙌🙌 I am so glad that both sides from Wappingers and Fishkill will hopefully come together because they’re both wonderful cities, their villages and the people that live in them and I’m also glad that the route nine and 9d traffic lights are going to be addressed because I do drive and I’ve always been killed quite a few times because of other drivers not having the courtesy so thank you for bringing this community meeting together to address these issues once again..
a lot of fat people in wappingers, upstate in general. Too much just hopping inthe car and not enough walking and eating well. Dutchess County has too many fast food bad food places. These shows. People did not used to be this fat.
Hi, please do something about your bathrooms. We went to the meeting that night and had to leave early because the toilets were filled with unflushed turds.

It should be ackknowledged that many citiess and states have changed Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples Day or Columbus/ Indingenous Peoples Day. This town is named for the native peoples that inhabited the area. It would seem appropriate that some aspect of the festivities mentioned honored the Wappingers people.
