I am a professional comic book artist drawing comics for Marvel, DC Comics, Image and Dark Horse.
My channel is a chance to show you my art, tips and tricks to my art process, & my passion for superheroes and comic book art.
My recent projects are Stargirl: Lost Children for DC Comics and the upcoming Magneto series for Marvel.
Some of my past comic book credits include a number of Spider-Man projects, most notably Amazing Spider-Man #583: The Spider-Man/Pres. Obama Team-Up, as well as Deadpool, Nightcrawler, Gwen Stacy, Young Justice, Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go!, 52, Superman, Supergirl, Legion of Superheroes, and Newmen. And I am also the creator of the reality TV superhero team, WildGuard, from Image Comics.
I've had the hardest time with the chainmail/scales on Cap's costume. Currently I'm working on a drawing of Cap for my best friend's four year old boy, my unofficial nephew. Artists like Alex Ross or John Cassaday sketch them very thick, almost medieval scales. I've tried this and have had really bad results. Applying them takes away the opportunity to use shading to accentuate elements of the upper torso through shading. This approach, making them closer to the body, may solve that issue, so thanks for posting, Todd. I wouldn't be using copic markers without your tutorials.
I just start watching your channel and the first time I seen you draw was a Syfy for comic book artists on my phone and I really love your art and the way you explain everything and I was wondering if you're taking any ideals for next drawing could you do any more obvious breakdown from the body from Pencil add inking and coloring I really find your channel entertaining and I love the way you draw thank you.
Hey Todd. I’ve enjoyed your videos for years and have always liked your style, but lately I can tell your line is evolving, it feels quicker and with more character lately. Personally I’m loving how your style is changing, it’s subtle but I’m digging it. Kudos!
Question ⁉️ Can I use a blank comic book cover like She-Hulk in a printer? I have colouring pages I buy from Walmart. I would like to put them on those cover blanks. Look forward to your reply.
Thanks for posting this series! I enjoyed this run of Young Justice, I've always enjoyed young heroes in action, and it was great to see you bring them to life! I'm sure you don't get many people talking about these two, but my faves have always been the Wonder Twins, and I loved how they looked in Young Justice, so sharp! I know they're back with a new look, I would love to see your take on their new look now! I hope we see them again soon!!
Hey todd, i have been following you since few years now and honestly it's so much fun to watch you draw and color. I have learned a lot from you. Thanks for all the instructions you give.
.. TODD .. suggestion for the future .. the Sinister Six .. YOUR version of the Sinister Six , your favorite Spidey Villains who were NOT Original Members of the Sinister Six .
I've been watching your videos since 2014 and it has helped me grow so much as an artist. Even today I learn something new every time I watch some of your content. Keep them coming!
