I’m sorry but you’re not using it correctly as others have said. I recommend reading the instructions. After a few uses it can pay for itself if you’re used to paying a plumber to each time. Doesn’t work for every situation but is a good first tool to start with because it’s fast and you don’t need to take apart the drain and make a big mess under the sink.

You just absolutely don't know how to use this tool...i just purchase this and for specific applications(many applications) and using the right head at the right PSI is key!! (The 1 PSI had me laughing...suppose to start at 5psi and go up by 5-10psi increments.. Higher the PSI smaller increments as well aw BLOCKING ANY OF THE OVERFLOW DRAINS AS WELL AS PUTTING A LITTLE PRESSURE DOWN ON THE TOOL AND THEN SEE HOW IT WORKS...SMFH...NOTHING FUNNIER THAN SOMEONE WHO Doesn't KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY USE A SPECIFIC TOOL AND DO A REVIEW ON IT 😂

Actually in most of the demo videos I've seen by Milwaukee, and competent people on RU-vid who know how to use this device, they start out at around 15 psi... If is doesn't clear the clog the first time, then you're supposed do it again at that same setting. Then if that doesn't clear the clog, you can raise it by an increment of 5psi, and try again. However, I wouldn't take it up too high because you can blow out the trap. But starting out at just 1 psi, and not increasing the pressure at all?

Why are you reviewing a tool you don’t know how to use?

Pretty sure you need to cover/seal ANY overflow openings whilst discharging.

When clearing tubs or sinks you need to block off the vents. The tool is definitely questionable in value. However you unfortunately didn’t operate it correctly.

They are pretty good tools if you know what you're doing. It's no more likely to damage the building drain than any other method above a simple plunger. The pipes blowing apart before before the blockage would nean they're seriously degraded. You really wouldn't want to use a cable. A plunger wouldn't have opened the tub drain for the reasons already listed in a previous comment. If there are any vents or branches you're not going to get it like that. I agree that you wasted your money on it but not for the same reasons. You're not a service plumber. If you're already handling your blockage issues with a hand plunger you really don't need it. Any service plumber that deals with blockages on a regular basis would love to have it.

I paid $200 for mine and it worked great on bath tub hair clog. It is absolutely a secondary drain cleaning tool not my first option, nice addition to my arsenal

In order for any type of kinetic energy to clear a bath tub you have to block the overflow. The overflow cover for the bathtub has to be taken off and stuff full with either rags or paper towels to where there is an airtight seal. Trying to clear the tub through thr drain as you were doing in the video allows the energy to go up the tub-waste overflow meaning less energy Dien the line to where the clog is.

Use a plunger over the waste overflow, that way you don’t need to remove it
