This is my second channel on which you can expect videos that didn't make it to the main Perun KTMS channel. This channel is based around my twitch content as well as my lifestyle being a Polish guy living in England. Being a content creator is my passion and has always been. I love making people feel welcomed on all of my platforms. This is a place where they can watch videos of me and enjoy my input as well as constructive feedback, have a laugh together and engage in conversations. Ultimately my goal is to create a community of people that have an interest of similar thing and enable them to have a place to come and talk to other people and make friends. I also motivate the youth and educate people on self-belief.
My name is Perun and I am a young entrepreneur and hope you enjoy your stay here on this channel, being a continent creator has always been my dream and hopefully one day this can become my career :)
I'm not a trained singer, but I'm guessing Steve Perry's mannerisms on stage are probably rooted in his vocal technique. Breath support comes from the whole body, so I've noticed he runs around a lot for the less challenging stuff (for him) but really anchors himself in place when he's getting ready to belt out those high notes.
Sadly, soon there will only be these videos to remind us that this era of music was special. Time served real musicians writing and performing their own material. Future generations will come to regard this era of excellence up there with the classic composers. Long after Rap, Punk, New Wave and manufactured pop have faded into oblivion our great great grandkids will still be listening to this music wide-eyed and wondrous. They'll probably even teach it in schools!
You guys keep loosing time listening to rap.... this is music my friend.... there are hours dedicated to perform the music to this level. Can you identify the dialog between the guitar piano and drums...?
From easy listening to all out rock chaos in a single song. Every moment of this composition was designed to move you closer and closer to the moment he’s been waiting for all his life. And with as hard as Phil hits, the dude’s voice never wavers. Who else can do that? It is the most masterful live performance out there. The other set of drums on stage is the one he plays during other songs in the concert. There are always two drummers in every Phil Collins and Genesis concert, usually Chester playing throughout and Phil joining him during the instrumentals. He didn’t like to sing and play drums at the same time if he didn’t have to, probably because he didn’t like hiding behind the kit as the frontman. So this performance is special for the amount of time he did both. If you look, this set rises out of the ground. Consider that the audience knew it was coming and knew he was going to play it. So this is just one more element adding to the build up and eventual climax. Will he make it in time?
@@PerunLive Same concert, btw. Where you see him playing that kit you were wondering about. That's 75,000 people in the audience and he sold out four nights in Paris for a total of 300K. Crazy, huh?
The album version of this song is actually longer than this live one. It is Mark's opus and one of the best songs ever written imo. Just grateful to have been alive contemporaneously with him and many of the older artists. And at 75 Mark is still making new music unlike many others.
I still remember watching all of these when they premired. Highly recommend Ghost of you, Famous Last Words, Mama from them as well. Honestly, their albums Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge & The Black Parade are awesome start to finish.
The album version is actualy longer than this live version, that is more than 14 minutes. And Mark Knopfler is the king of guitar tone. He also just released his 10th solo album a few monthes ago
