John Bowman is a humble and kind man. I spoke with him at a concert in Detroit quite a few years ago. He is obviously more than just talented. He's gifted by God. He plays multiple instruments, and has a fine singing voice. I know he worked and works hard to be able to do what he does. But when I spoke with him before they took the stage, he wasn't the least bit arrogant or braggy. He downplayed his talent on the banjo, saying he wasn't very good. I think he was still learning it, but made it talk that night during the show. I wouldn't have known he hadn't been playing for years and years if he hadn't told me. They are good people. I have loved their music for a long time. Just kind hearted Southern folk, who love the Lord. They've had their hurts, as we all have. Lord bless them for serving Him full time in music and ministry.
I think the Jim Ed Brown version was with his 2 sisters they were Called the Browns and Jim Ed Brown had a voice that was similar to Ben Issac. I think the cave setting here kinda detracts how beautifully the Issacs sing this song. If you go to the Gaither vevo Gospel channel on you tube and watch the Issacs sing this song there you will hear just how good the Issacs are and they are very very good
I'm obviously in the wrong place. I don't know of your gods or this chap you call jebus. On checking Google, it appears to be about a young girl being raped by a spirit and then thousands of years later, Americans thinking that's a good thing, and that they should then invade other countries - because jebus. Once done, compose a nice song about the rape and the subsequent invasions and pretend it was a good thing. Because jebus. Got it.
