For anyone with a 2023 that does not have a gear on the cluster. Hold on, pull up the settings on your radio, search service interval. File location tree is setup>vehicle>cluster>service interval
Working on this is a nightmare compared to an evo.i had to buy double end 180 degree socket spanners, flex head ratchet, wobble sockets and yoga mar to lie down on the engine 😅 every turbo line is ridiculous too, and the turbo inlet clamp has no room to undo it with Normale tools and the wastegate pressure thing is in the way so your blind.might drop the subframe ans engine next time.😅 love the t5 sound with minimal mufflers
ok 2 questions... if i close off the trumpet and opt for full recirculation do i still have to adjust the soft-hard feature? does the trumpet/vent always have to be facing upwards? i have a BH5 but the orientation has it facing downwards into the motor... is that an issue?
Must be a different country’s 2023 because my USA 2023 Kia soul s does not have that gear.. I’m told to hold OK to see settings and it comes up on my radio.. still can’t find it
I know this video is old but what is the best way to go on removing the driver side bolt on the bottom of the triangle? I removed the other 2 top ones but I don’t have any room for the bottom one. My ratchet don’t have room to spin the bolt. And I seen all this videos making it look so damn easy but is not lol. I didn’t have any issues with the demon bolts except this one bottom stud.
Finally picked one up and getting ready to install this in my 05 R. Currently doing a pretty intensive restoration but I can't wait until it's all back together.
wonder if everyone agrees that a weak CV axle is what puts pressure on the seal it faces on that set-up that is or touches the angle gear/shaft/whatnot: thus, early change-outs of CV axle is imperative to prevent both this Collar damage/and-or more damage
Have a 2023 GTLine. The little "gear" you reference as the 3rd selection is missing & replaced with an angled arrow. So... it does not work. Don't know why. Really weird..
Throttle bodies actually stay open at all times on the vq37, they’re just a fail safe in case, throttle is controlled by the vvel (more or less intake valve lift)
What's funny is I grew up in the white house next door to the shop and went to CATB with your brother for welding. Shame you guys don't have this shop anymore. Volvo sounds good tho.
I bought a set of these BBK shorties for my Chrysler 300c and they were pure junk. The welds on them were disgusting. I immediately returned them and bought a set of JBAs instead.
Thank you although it didnt really help lol I have a 2023 Kia soul GT line and couldnt find that tab anywhere. I ended up finding mine in the "cluster tab" in vehicle settings.
The reason why your charge air hose (The nasty, oil-covered one.) is covered in oil vapors, is because oil deposits are being vented through the oil dipstick tube. This is because your PCV system is severely clogged.
so funny story! I am looking for intakes and start posting UPT pictures in the G37 groups on fbm and I'm saying I need them asap, cworks starts texting me thru messenger (keep in mind I was texting him to check pricing and wait times) then he starts saying he'll put my order up first and that he HATES UPT! I kept telling him i ordered UPT intakes already and he starts getting pissed that I didn't do business with him hence why he wanted to rush my order upfront first and just mess with others orders who have already ordered their sets?! it's ridiculous.
So how old was your z when you done this. Mine is 10 years old....just did catback. Rusted bolts but they came off....just wondering how durable those header studs are on a 10 year old car. Hate to break one off.....
