I live in Guilderland, the next town over. I go down here to Voorheesville basically every day and I have been keeping an eye on the progress. The new crossing arms are working, the signals are lit up (as is the one at the Hennessy Rd. crossing) and the signals past the Main St. crossing have been retired and removed since the new ones have been installed and are now working.

Indian Point was decommissioned Did they use CSX to transport any of the materials out of the site ? Are there tracks that go into the site ?

Been living in the HV for 35+ years and have taken that line a hundred times or more. I have never seen those signs nor heard of that town. I learned something today.

I don’t know if you ever seen CRX at night uses the Poughkeepsie Amtrak line to haul three 400 garbage containers all the way up north at night to 3 o’clock in the morning
