Stupid humans.... There is no reason what so ever that someone should not be allowed to fly a drone discretely and safely within a national park. The footage is absolutely stunning and the fact that this footage made it to his computer shows there was no crash, he didn't lose it in the lake or the forest where some animal will supposedly find it and eat it and die..... He flew an electric drone discretely in an isolated part of the park away from people, he stayed away from animals and buildings and airports and followed all drone safety rules..... Yet somehow he's broken the law. Just another example of laws being made and enforced by people who have no idea what they're talking about.
It's not all about you and what you think you should be allowed to do in National Parks, and in life, for that matter. If not for laws, idiots would be flying drones everywhere, no doubt, because it is "cool". People just like you. The rest of us don't want to hear drones in beautiful natural settings. If you can't appreciate that, then stay home. Parks don't need you.
All the amazing footage that will never be filmed because of stupid drone bans. I was very disappointed to see the no drone rule they put up. Idk how a small drone could ever do harm there.

@@edchris7383 I'm saying the law itself is stupid. It's arbitrary, it's not about preserving the natural landscape. I'm ok with banning drones in true wilderness areas with no access, but at a place with so many unnatural disturbances what is the point?
