Efka is a brand from Germany. They have been around for a long time. However, some mfg. was moved to Ukraine and so with the war, has been having issues. The motor is 550 watts.
Is there anyway to slow down the speed of the front tack & back tack on CP180? Mine is way too fast and always breaks the thread or yanks it out of the needle starting unless its set to 1-1-1-1
I have an m3 file i need to send to the juki controller and can't get it to read. What size flash drives do you recommend, and are you using fat32 with them? That manual for the IP420 is terrible.
You can format the flash drive on the IP420, then you will have the proper file size. The big issue would be to make sure you are in the proper folder. Haven't tried uploading an older M3 file, but I bet it needs to be in a folder AMS like it was on the older floppy.
@@camatronsewing Thanks for the answer. I figured it out. What I was trying to accomplish was load a new .m3 file on the machine as an additional pattern. I used a 4gb fat32 formatted flash drive, created the folder structure as shown in the manual, copied the m3 file in to the correct folder and remaed it also as shown in the manual, then was able to import to the ip420 in the next available slot.
Pm-1 is a pc based app to create pattern files for a variety of juki sewing machines. The AMS has the ability to do the same directly on the machine. I find it much easier to use the Pm-1.
If you have an IP panel, you can use VDT format and upload directly to the lk1900a. Otherwise you need to treat it as the older Lk1900 and save to an e-prom in LK format
@@camatronsewing sorry I don't have IP panel and in PM-1 software didn't show the option ok LK format, Secondly I need to know for copy on Eprom can we directly copy on Eprom or need other driver?
@@khalil-ur-rehmansiddique1973 on the PM-1 you should have the Lk1900 machine type . the file will then beLK000.ROM. Then you would send that file to an e-prom burner and save to the e-prom as intel hex file
I have same machine! My question is when it backstitch and cut the tread fine! But when needle reposition back even with the foot, it sometimes needle is below the the foot half way down or down to the plate, I have to turn the wheel to put needle up where supposed to be! Why does that happen? How do I fix it?
It could be setting on the machine that changes how much torque the motor has so that it does not drift from the needle up position. You can call my office and we can try to help
@@camatronsewing I looking at today! Usually when you turn machine that runs on air! Needle reposition itself and wasn't doing that like it should. So something is off.
Hey - thanks for this video! I ordered the plate/foot, installed them, activated the box stitch program, but the machine will not stitch it. Saying e43 (stich pitch more than 10mm) it will still stitch the straight bartack programs, but not any box pattern. If I reduce the size of the pattern with the scale selection, it will drop the foot but lock and tell me e7 (machine locked). But machine is not locked because it will stitch a bartack. Any suggestions?
