I think she looks cool as hell, and her combos look sick! I really wonder where they're going with the story. Would be fun with more of a character focus rather than high-stakes.

i notice bro you have a habit of either(when you have your opponent in the corner you let them out by walking back to much) or you let them put you in the corner and you crack which isnt that bad cause everyone cracks at some point, but for when you get ppl in the corner you dont want to start walking back to much, find the spot where you can keep them pinned down and are forced to gamble to get out(jump,a move that travels,di or whatever the case is) you want them to make a choice to get out without giving up your advantage. a part of your gameplan should always be to push ppl to the corner. get into the training room and work on it. good luck on the master grind
Damn, I didn't realise the intro to thing game was so cool. Makes me think of Asura's Wrath. And goddamn if the bo staff isn't the dopest weapon around in this kind of game.
Milestones are good but definitely don't worry about the points too much. It'll come naturally as you level up your game. And you're doing fine. My comment to you about spacing traps might've got cooked because a phrase in there turned into a link but a good spacing trap for Ken to save meter is crouch mk at max range. And if they're playing overly defensive, you can throw in a fireball after mk to just chip away at more drive. It can be drive impacted so you gotta be careful but just to put pressure on the opponent to make a move in your favor it's worked for me. To lab those just set the opponent to block everything and have them throw out crouch MP or crouch MK after block. Wait to see it whiff then throw out your punish string. And you can test his other buttons like heavy punch and heavy kick too. See what buttons / blockstrings makes a character's best pokes whiff and it gets a lot easier. You got this!

You are in your own head. You're thinking about the points too much is making you play unlike yourself. There were a few matches on here where you played very abnormal just because you kept thinking about hitting 2300.
Also, why aren't you following up your EX fireballs with Drive Rush? That is literally a free get-in tool with Ken if they block or if it connects. What's the point of using two pips of bar if it's just a dick hair worth of damage? It's not like with Ryu where it knocks down the opponent And you use that time for a Denjinnerate Charge. I know you're not trying to waste drive bar meter, but if you're going to throw a ex you might as well throw in one more pip and get free pressure
this is true, i just learned about throwing an ex fireball after foward throw is great for ken. I can't get the timing down of trying to connect a normal from drive rush ex fireball. that shit is hard.

Here's the thing about playing cleaning. Obviously it comes with time. Mamy hours of fights, surrounded by people you play who consise and precise at gaming!!... and yada yada!! As many said.. they dont expect you!!! And yet you play clean enough to have those moments. Every player had a moment where they f'd ip around. Its happened, doesnt mean that they're not clean,.they just had a bad few rounds. Can't get a clean round all the time.. but what makes you good, is adaptation. Once you visualize the f!@@$ up, youll allow yourself to commit to better decision making!! The coolest thing is that your having fun.... the other is the little things that will help your process into Master rank really soon.
Yeah. That's most of the SNK character's schtick with the projectiles traveling like ground waves, one of the reasons why I've been a fan of them for a minute. He looks great in this RE engine.

Nah, I wouldn't expect someone at Diamond 4 or 5 to be squeaky clean. I don't even expect someone at Master to be clean to be perfectly honest. And GGs to the fights, even if you got a couple of annoying match-ups.
I'm the WRONG person to give any type of feedback on SF6, but I gotta say that I got the feeling that you managed to keep your meter in check overall. You're good at using meter to get them to the corner (in that Akuma fight for example). The tricky part is to not accidentally burn out with a DR cancel on that last bit of meter if you're not going to kill, which is what I struggle with contantly. I feel like you don't need to stress out too much about it since you're getting close to master each video. Great fights, mate!
one thing i think you do is, look over your matches and see what your doing(buttons,strings,special moves,combos) and if its not working but you like using it and want it to be apart of your game i suggest practicing said thing and slowly add it to your game. it can be overwhelming trying to add multiple things to your game. same thing goes for meter management. be mindful of it and practice it! learn you meterless options! i guarantee ken has alot of strong meterless combos, you just have to learn them then when you need to finish off sum1 thats when you add meter to combos and you'll get better at picking your spots when and when not to burn your meter. good luck bro definitely like your vids very entertaining and funny
Just work on combos / blockstrings that set up spacing traps and you'll get better with meter management. A lot less guesswork with that approach. If the combo hits you get damage and if it doesn't you'll be spaced better to either just block the follow up or react to a whiff. I don't have Ken specific combos but that and solid anti-airs carried my Ken to Master
The Pao Pao Café is a classic Fatal Fury stage. Man, Terry looks so good in this. Im not a big M. Bison guy, but this is definitely a DLC character I'll try this season. Him and Elena.
Good videos. Imma say something very critical next. Grimes is right but I think your anti-airs and Cross-Cuts are a bigger issue. You let too much free pressure happen because people are freely Jumping-in or jumping over. A lot of the stuff that is hitting you would have never been a situation if you had anti-air them in the first place. Just my 2¢. I know you didn't ask but its what I see.
I think Cyrax looks cool in MK1. I like that her design is so different from other versions of the character, but I didn't really have much of a connection to 'em before. Then again...I don't play MK1, but I might pick it up later for the guest characters. As a SF6 and Tekken player though, I'm kinda jealous of the expansion-style releases of NRS, and the costumes. I know it's all expensive as hell, but I can't lie that I still want some of that shit. SF6 got, what...one costume in a year? Wild.
It’s weird, cause I feel like street fighter has the gameplay but mk got everything else. I think once mk gets the gameplay down then they’ll be perfect
That comeback on Ryu was some wild shit! Man, Kimberly is an absolute menace. I have no idea how to fight her besides countering some of her teleports. But when she gets her pressure going, I have no idea what to do.

@@watgusbut like for a free basic tip, just really watch what your opponent does in certain situations. That help me a ton during plat. Like, I would see what they do when they got knocked down, versus when I’m knocked down. How well they anti air things of that nature
@@bheard I'll make sure to keep that in mind. When I feel like I get a read on my opponent and figure out their way of playing, I usually win. But when they apply insane pressure I usually don't have a clear-cut answer because I don't know enough frame data. But I'll get there, eventually. Got to Platinum 4 just now!
