Great insight for newbies to trading. Totally get protecting how data is used for selections as protecting the strategy is understandable but it's a pity the software used wasn't Bet Angel as then the dutching screen could be seen in its entirety and viewers could see what was going on.
What an absolute dog turd of a video. You really watched this and thought to yourself "That's good to upload to RU-vid''? For someone that works ''18 hours a day'' doing IT-related things, you would assume to have an understanding of crunching and squeaking in your video? It happens all throughout! Your intro is way too loud and your narration could really do with a lot less uuuhhmmm. Then your title : LIVE TRADING! How to make £5 PER RACE | Trading using Horse Racing DATA alone. So what data? All we see is you clicking all over the screen and the website where you got your so called ''data'' from. What datapoints do you use and why? Why do you click the trades you click? Why do certain datapoints evolve into the decision that you are taking? Nothing has been answered! I use BetAngel myself and just like you, more or less do, I can go to the - to be placed market - click random back to lay over the screen and make a profit as well. I really don't mind that you want to sell your software, but this way is abysmal!
It would be interesting if you were to split out all the bets from your results in to pre-off and in play bets then take the prices for each and calculate what returns would be to the same level of risk. This should tell you if you have been taking value in the pre-off or in play or both. I think probably its inplay.
They are placed in conjunction with each other, the intention is to trade parts of or some of each pre race bet so it would be a completely meaningless activity for me
Data / Files are on the other screen. Where I have done recordings in the past showing the data people have asked if can show how I execute trades instead
I would love to see both together. Could you drag the data to the main screen from time to time and talk through how you are using the data? I'd also love to see you create the table you quickly showed on the first video in this series.
@@iainmoran2495 I talk through what I am looking at. To execute the trades, record the screen, commentate on what I am doing and also drag Excel screens around all 30 seconds from the of is pushing my multi tasking boundaries :)
Hi! Really interesting video! When you decide what to back or lay, is this from data from your site? And how would you know what to look for when you decide what to put money on? I guess you have a ton of experiance in the field which also helps ofc.
The only guide I am using is the data. There are tons of different approaches, not everyone will be willing to share their exact techniques, but our advanced member telegram room discuss plenty. I use what works for me, different strokes for different folks and all that
@@footballbetdata ah yes okay. But essentially you try to predict What odds Will hit, you bet on an odds to hit, and if it does hit that your trade is successful?
Depends entirely what you want to do. Data can be obtained from a standalone daily Excel file or using a simple tickbox dashboard sent to screen or excel for further analysis
Hi Chris, what a brilliant video! Could you do a part 2, showing how you built the table at 1:40 and how you use it to make trading decisions. I think many people would find that useful.
Great video. A question reg the software: Do you plan on integrating xG at some point? It seems to be more generally available now (for instance Flashscore and other livescore services include it now)?
At the moment it is not commercially availble, the video should help to generate some idea's for members as to how they can analyse and exploit the data either pre game or inplay
Maybe I'm missing something here, but how does "Average Home Odds" etc are calculated? Average between different bookmakers? In what point in time? Opening or closing? Thanks
Around 1hr 15 - 1hr 20 when on the dashboard you forgot to check all the score predictions which is why you were getting a low output of games. Otherwise a brilliantly insightful video and make perfect sense
I have put out several plea's to members inviting them to share video's, or do a hosted session with me but so far nobody has volunteered. Kind of understandable that people do not want to share their secrets and I wouldn't ever ask them too. Member content is often the best as its not always easy for me to gauge what the appetite is for the content I am providing.
What happens when you close the pivots do you save them as an excel file and just name them something like slicers...and when you open them will they auto be linked to the data model?

Hi, I've been replicating what you did here purely because I've not done a pivot table before but I get different values e.g. in B5 I get £10.09 and you get £100.20 and in the bottom far right P18 I get £781 and you get £2566? So my values are a lot lower - any idea why that might be? Thanks in advance.
I have no idea what Proform offer so impossible for me to compare and tell you what is differnet other than our annual advanced membership is currently less than £50 a year, I believe they charge £50 a month for their service

Great video. Always learn something new. Nugget here was back testing alternative months which now sounds so obvious but had never considered it. Yes and no to greys. Yes because the data you guys provide will be right there with little manual collection required. No because what small edge I have will quickly evaporate 😅. Seriously though, the problem with greys is lack of liquidity, so even with the best data at your disposal, if there is little money in the market, people may just give up on the greys. As you say in the video, you need the members to get right behind it to make it worth your while building the data.
Thanks for your feedback, Yes if we were to do the dogs it would be purely based on pre off data as there isn't the same in play market opportunities that the horses present, and honestly speaking, although the interest maybe there from a small number of people I’m not sure the opportunity is big enough to make it worth while
Your videos are always excellent, but you've really been knocking it out of the park lately! This one is extremely useful. Could you do an update where you show how to adapt this to analyse more than two crieria?
Possibly, but also a big chunk of change for us to find out, and based on current RBD numbers it wouldn't really be viable, and would be an expensive exercise to find out.
