6:32 TRUE!!! Games like Dark Cloud 2 and Rogue Galaxy (just to name two games with cell shaded graphics) live rent free in my head decades after their releases. I wish more games especially AAA games focused more on art style than who can have the most realistic looking ppl and setting.
plays and cotrols like a tank in a super market Cat game Maybe don't compare Nine Sols with Dark Souls, that nearly made me miss it in the first place. I like it, but I'm not sure if I want to get it right from the start. The only complains so far seem to be it's hard, so not to bad.
You have to decide if you want to put the games on the list when they release on early access or when they release the 1.0 version. Songs of Conquest is 1.0, Hades 2 is EA. It's one or the other.
Awesome content as per usual! But, just checking: no best May trailers? I thought every month there was both best releases video and best trailers video.
Hades II winning game of THIS year while in early access would be even better, to show you how big the gap truly is between the great games and whatever trash AAA studios come up with next.
@@hua.. Balatro is crazy, but a card game built around Poker isn't winning game of the year lets be real, "think of the children" mouthbreathers won't allow it.
Personally I think that the fact that good games such as Selaco weren't included in this top 10 just goes to show what a great month this May has been for indie gaming.
@@peterc504 i hope you enjoy it mate, its not hollow knight or ori levels of greatness but its close to blasphemous and grime in my eyes. And i guess underrated is the wrong word but no one seems to be playing it or talking about it
Just shows how packed it was, thought I was done buying games around at the end of the month and got hit with Umbraclaw, Overbowed and SKALD releses back to back. 😭
