1500W needs 9000w, a decent sized compressor will trip a 9500w generator when it starts up while lasering. I know because mine tripped it all the time.
i just ordered one how low in watts can it go. i want it for auto restoration can i see how well it works in cleaning auto paint and rust at about 100-150 watts
Cool Video, Curious What Model and Brand of Generator are you using to power that 1500watt Laser? I'm guessing is has a 50Amp 220v Outlet on the Generator? Thanks!
Yessir, it has 50 am 220v, single phase power. It’s a Westinghouse 9500c. I personally won’t use natural gas or propane in it, so I saved a little money not getting the dual or tri fuel models. Manufacturer of the laser said peak power consumption is around 9,000w.
@@Swinging_S_Lasers Cool, Thats what I thought, something like that, Have you ever checked to see how many amps the machine draws while your on full power , just curious if its approaching the 50amp threshold at full power. 😎
