If 20 years ago you'd have told me in the future I'd spend a sunday morning NOT on my bike and instead be sitting in my underwear eating breakfast and watching some guy ride his bike in a virtual world, I'm not sure if I would have laughed or cried.
Your Chanel was the first I watched about Zwift when I started using it in 2019 to study about racing. First race was Alpes Du Zwift in B. Now long been an A+ rider and have competed and finished well in Domestic Pro races outdoors. Thanks for the videos.
Wow you complaining about others not having steering is a little ott, if it does give a competative advantage then it shouldn't be used in races unless its an all or nothing. I own play controllers btw
I really like how the virtual HUD is getting closer to the real world Garmin 1050. I really like the Climb Pro feature. To bad when it activates you lose the rout remaining number. Still its pretty great. Whiners gonna whine.
The new hud does not do anything to the cycling, but it looks much better and gives more information. Nice improvement. Long time users may have to get used to it.

I'd kill for a map that shows where your route is actually going, and a clear "climb pro" where you can actually see where you are, and how many meters you have to go to the summit.
Honestly I still don’t even look at the left HUD. All about the dots on the mini map and the leaderboard on the right. Always keeping an eye on people trying to make moves or gaps opening up on the map! I do very much enjoy the climb pro feature 👌🏽

The steering just looks dumb and unrealistic like the steering in arcade games like pole position. If everyone racing ends up paying $99 for $5 controllers then zwift racing just gets dumber and the only winner is the company collecting the $99.
@@DontGetDroppedCycling The people playing Assetto Corsa are playing a video game too, but they wouldn't if they added steering like this. I mean, sure, zwift could make a game mode where you can drop banana skins to make the people behind you crash,, shoot missiles at the guy in front, but that isn't what this is supposed to be is it?
Does the steering make the game a bit too pay-to-win? Seems like you basically get penalised if you don't buy it because auto-steering doesn't put you back in the draft vs a steering player like it does with a non-steering player.

Congrats on that accomplishment. I've ridden Vancouver to Calgary 4 times. 1st 2 times with my father, the last two times with some cycling buddies. Now my father is in his 80s, and he's still riding strong. Last year, he road from Toronto to St. Catharine's and was home by 2 o'clock. He's an inspiration to me to get my fat butt on a bike again.

I’m more of a solo rider but could send you the route so u can smash my time. I don’t even consider myself a cyclist really I have no clue what I’m doing. I may go for 1000 next year without stopping, not sure. I think they call this rondaneuring or something
