Very useful video. Wasn't planning on going on Hyperspace Mountain or Indiana Jones...but now we will have to have a good think about Crush's Coaster. Thanks for the detailed info.
Enjoyed this first instalment, never been to Disney Paris so really looking forward to the next video. Found you from the Iona series you did and like your relaxed and fun style. Ps… I was shocked at some of prices in the Disney shop, but the things did look amazing. Take care both and thanks for sharing your adventures
Thank you, we try not to be too formal 😆 yeah disney prices are outrageous but we expected that. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series and thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your exciting trip. Great views from the plane. Always enjoy seeing hotels. Disney village looks lovely. Shame about the rain. Lots of great things in the shop. Look forward to your next video. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
You can get things ironed if you pay extra, there was no ironing board in the room. I don't think you get a minibar with the premium package, that's just for premium drinks that they offer
It was interesting seeing you compare the two ships side by side. We loved P&O but haven’t tried Marella. You will have to try all the other companies now and see how they compare xx
Good honest review, thank you. We’ve only done 1 x cruise on Iona but I did compare prices against Marella and P&O appeared better value for us. I think like you, it depends on what you are looking for and what you will use. We don’t drink a lot so didn’t buy any drinks packages, however bought some cocktails and drinks just as and when we wanted them. Spent about £125 in total compared to almost £700 that the drinks package would have cost. Thanks again for your reviews and the whole series, enjoyed watching them.
Yeah we also saved a lot of money by not buying the drinks package. P&O definitely offer great value for money. Glad you enjoyed watching, much appreciated 🙂
Great video guys! I have done both marella and p&o, I loved Marella for the all-inclusive and friendly vibe! Also the staff and entertainment was so much better on Marella compared to P & O!... Plus like you say the towel animals are a bonus when you return to your cabin! The theater on the Marella is so much better, as you say, with drinks and, most importantly, somewhere to put your drink, unlike P&O, which had no tables or anywhere to put your drink in the theatre! Just booked another one on Marella Discovery 2 so super excited! - Kelly -
We absolutely loved the entertainment on Marella, they always put on an amazing show every night. And yep their staff are amazing and very friendly. Enjoy Discovery 2! Sure you'll have a fantastic time.
Good evening guys enjoyed looking around the cabin with you. It looks lovely and clean. You did well to jump on the bed i wouldnt manage it. Hope you have a great weekend Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
I always found the quays pretty good - better than the buffet at any rate, Itried the buffet three times (breakfast, lunch and supper) on iona, and a few times on arvia. Bland and tepid at best!
Lol about the shoes. I've heard stories of people packing all their clothes and having to leave in bathrobes. 39 days to go before we go, really hoping we see the lights in Norway but it might be too early.
Hahaha Jon would be getting up at 7.30 alone to enjoy the jacuzzi. It looked like a nice way to start the day. I think the Gonk turned out so cute! The 7 10 lounge looked like a nice last evening activity. Aww how special that you got to see the northern lights too!! Aww your kitty cat is so cute! Omg haha thank hod your bag was still there for you to grab your shoes! Xx
So glad we got a spot in the 710 lounge on the last night. It was great in there, a really nice atmosphere. Northern Lights was a nice surprise too! Yes was a very close call with the shoes 😂
We loved the crafting on P&O Aurora. It's good to see what you made. Our craft activities were totally different. Great vlog series. We enjoyed our time on Iona as well. Keep up the good work. What is next for you guys?
Oh interesting, what crafts did you have on Aurora? Thank you, glad you liked the series. We have already filmed a short Disneyland Paris trip. After that we have Poland and a Christmas trip back to disneyland 🙂
You are funny… That’s the only thing with having to put your luggage outside the door so early isn’t it… I’m going on IOna in September with my friend to the Norwegian fijords… We’re going down from York, so we’re on a coach so hopefully we won’t see our location till York! Really enjoyed all of your blogs…
Hi guys, was worth getting up early, looked relaxing. The crafting was fun. Pleased you enjoyed your food. That meal did look good. How amazing to see the Northern Lights. Thank you for sharing your trip. Have enjoyed watching. Just as well you remembered your shoes before it was too late. Have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn♥
Hi guys, shame that you couldn't do the trips that you had planned but pleased that you found plenty to do. Thank you for sharing. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
51 days to go! Wondering if we should book something for Alesund now though, not canoeing though, not a fan of cold water and I would defo end up in it.
Ah it's always exciting counting down to a cruise! If we were to go again we would book something, definitely a sightseeing boat tour. You'll enjoy it either way though!
We loved Alesund. Jon did the kayaking there and he did enjoy it but they didn’t make him wear a wetsuit and he had a single kayak haha. Haha the enthusiasm for the football xx
Hi guys, enjoyed watching the next part of your trip. Looks lovely there. Beautiful views. The reflections on the water are stunning. Napkin folding sounds fun. Food looked tasty. Pleased you enjoyed the show. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Hi guys Looking forward to following your cruise, its on our bucket list too. Iona looks a lovely ship, we would need a map to get round. Looking forward to following the rest of your Norwegian adventures 😊 Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕
Hi guys Thank you for sharing your time in Lincoln, even though we're only in East Yorkshire it's somewhere we've never visited. Its been added to our must visit list. Loved the teapot That cake looked delicious 😋 Morgs Jo and Boo 😊
Hi Fab review Looks a lovely shepherd's hut and great that its dog friendly too 😊 Kitchen area looks very well equipped. Just discovered your channel so looking forward to following your adventures 😊 Have a lovely week Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕
Really enjoying these videos, so relaxed and informal. On this same cruise next week so looking forward to experiencing some of the things you have shown us. Thank you both.
So lovely to see this. Did exactly the same trip at the beginning of May (we were on Sky Princess) and fortunately our weather was gorgeous. So not what we expected. Really enjoyed the walk up and back again and the scenery was stunning. Thanks for sharing😊
The glacier is so cool to see. The waterfalls all around look amazing too. Haha using your go pro case as a lunch box is such a good idea. That show looked a bit awkward haha xx
Wow ! How amazing is this. Absolutely stunning. Must have been wonderful to visit. Food looked tasty too. Have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Aww we really liked Stavanger and the colourful street. The maritime museum looked interesting! That is disappointing about the origami. I would have wanted to do that too. The performers were very talented. Xx
It's so lovely, it was our favourite port. Yeah so disappointed about the origami! Thankfully there were some other crafting activities on other days 🙂
It’s so good that they have a Norway shop. The archery looked fun haha. The cocktail with the candy floss looks nice. There is nothing better than a sunset at sea. I love a silent disco but Jon thinks it’s cringe haha xx
