My name is Jessica, and welcome to Half Pint Sous!
My four year old daughter took an interest in cooking with me when she was two. Now it is something that we enjoy together on a regular basis, in fact she gets a little angry with me if I cook without her.
We are happy that you are here, and look forward to sharing our recipes which include a wide variety of foods, cooking tips, instructional videos, and hilarious outtakes with you.

The marshmallows keep the moisture from the sugar from evaporating. The science behind it or HOW it does it- I have no idea. Lol It’s just something my great great aunt taught me a long time ago, and it really does work.
Written recipe for all, especially me since I keep coming back to this 1 tbsp olive oil 3tbsp butter 3/4 cup diced celery 3/4 cup diced carrot 3/4 cup diced onion (Saute until tender) 3 cloves minced garlic 2 tbsp flour, coat aromatics well 2 cups milk. Add in 1/2 cup increments, whisking in between 4 cups of chicken broth. Add in 1 cup increments, stirring in between. Add seasonings. Listed here are 3 bay leaves 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp of black pepper. (I like to add 1 tsp thyme as well) 1 cup of long grain rice. Your discretion to rinse 1 rotisserie chicken, picked and chopped to bite size pieces Bring to boil, and immediately set to medium low heat to simmer for about 20 minutes, or until rice is tender. Don't cover, as it needs periodic stirring. Once rice is tender, it's soup! Dig in!
I made these awesome wraps a few nights ago for dinner. They were so easy and tasted amazing! Thank you Half Pint Sous for such another delicious recipe!❤️
I made ribs for the first time and followed your recipe and I was amazed how easy and delicious it was. And the hash brown casserole was a huge hit for my family. Will definitely be making this again! Thanks for sharing!
