Mine is a 2008 clk350. It doesn't have that plastic to take off to get to the washer nozzles. Where that plastic piece is, I have metal that dies not remove from there. It seems plastic pieces have to break to get it off.
I blew my meter out doing this, I asked my friend who is a MB tech and he said i should connect the clamp while the negative cable is still attached or it completes the circuit and will blow the meter because the car powers everything back up after it's disconnected. He also said lock the doors first and wait 10 mins for the car to sleep and when checking the fuses you need to engage the locks so the car doesn't think the doors or trunk is open.
My radio was shorted out with an incorrect battery replacement and now doesn’t work do you know if there’s a fuse behind the radio besides the one fuse #62 in the engine bay?
Watched your vid and went to check the auxiliary battery as I have a few anomolies with the electric systems but there isn't a battery fitted to mine! Should I look elsewhere or wasn't the auxiliary fitted to every model w219 (2007)?
It would be nice if you had zoomed in so we can see the screw. Also after you push and hold then push and hold wait for four seconds it looks like your keeping pressure on the right side button. Is that right?
12 years later I have a question Benz God 🙏🏽 if the lock rod and cap is a little stiff going up and down after reassembling the panel what did I do wrong 😅
