There's kind of a whole slang language used in french called "Verlan" which is basically french but you invert the first and last parts of the word (For exemple, even the name "Verlan" comes from '"L'envers" which means "reverse, the opposite") and the word "beu" is in fact the first part of the Verlan word beuher, which, if we revert it once more is "Herbe", in french, or "Grass", in english.
