neither edinburgh nor glasgow uni is impressive they are both shit at sports! Strathclyde is the place to be (and your most likely gonna get stds there)

Hey, thanks for your comment. I really liked York the scenes are good and all the teachers were nice. Would definetly consider it as an option. Stay blessed 🙌
I know you're just sh*tposting but I'm working class and went to Oxford - I'd heard the stereotypes and they almost put me off going. Thankfully, they're mostly BS. For the record, the majority of students were state educated from ordinary backgrounds like me. Of those who went to private schools, many had parents who were teachers (and benefitted from subsidised school fees) or professional classes (doctors/lawyers) who presumably valued education. The whole Oxford = rich privileged kids with trust funds/aristocracy is almost entirely false. There was a tiny number like that but Oxbridge is for people who worked hard at school. If you're already filthy rich, I'd wager there's less incentive to work hard. From what I gather the truly rich private educated kids went to Cirencester or Brookes - easier to get into and taught "land management"
Hey Ferdi, first part of the video is fake assumptions and then I tell the truth about the uni. Well done into getting into Oxford I know it's very difficult. I appreciate your comment. Stay blessed 🙌
I was wondering the way this started. Nobody gets into Oxford on Ds and Es, whatever school they went to, although back in the dark ages, the then Prince Charles made is on two Ds from memory. Personally I want to Imperial (from a state school) back in 1973, the year when Brian May gave up his PhD studies to concentrate on playing for some band called Queen. It must have gone badly, as he came back to complete it 37 years later. As to being a nerd with no personality, I plead guilty. It was also fairly tough to get in then, it is much tougher now.
@@tomgreerr I will say that the teaching is good, Sport is a real big thing as well. The campus is pretty probably one of the best in the UK though the reason why it was shit really was be sure of my experiences there since I was there when Covid hit and mate pick a good college as that will help to get a decent accommodation. However yeah the library isn’t even 24 hours so yeah but it’s a great uni overall. However it did not work out for me.
@@tomgreerr I don’t know what degree you chose, but based on your tier list it’s not bioscience. I studied neuroscience there and the quality of education was so poor that the predominant majority of students I know didn’t stay in neuroscience research or bioscience as a whole.
My brother did bioscience at Birmingham he said it was good there. I'm looking g to do law in September if I get in. Thanks for your comment Dani I appreciate the support. Stay blessed 🙌
Law is hard, but if you wanna a dad advice that pretty much sums up my journey so far, it is this: if you like something to the point you wanna do it for free, go for it. If you are doing something that you despise but it will bring you financial security, status, recognition etc, run from it. Trust me it’s not worth it. Good luck with your journey!
Thanks mate. I'll take that advice on board. I know law will he hard but I do have an initial interest for it. Also love making youtube videos but it's just a hobby for now. Good luck with you bioscience degree. I'm sure you will smash it and good luck to you to 👍
First part of this video is false assumptions and what people think the universities are like. The second part is the actual truth about each uni. Appreciate you all. Stay blessed 🙌
Hey, first half is jokes about what people think the unis are like and the second half I gained the Information through Google and also from friends who have visited the unis or study there. Stay blessed 🙌
Hi tom do u get paid for ur content bc i saw an ad after one of ur shorts when i was scrolling through your content . The reason is bc i have 102 subs and i would love tht
Hi Cranky, it's over now so no point worrying about it. As long as you did your best that's all you can ask for. What are you looking to do after collage?
@@tomgreerr I'm going sixth form at my school. Gonna study Paramedic science at university, I'm doing A level media studies, Maths and Health & Social care so 3 A-Levels. Regards to the history exam. I only answered a few questions as I didn't wrote too much. What should I do ?
Hi mate, I did aqa English language. It's difficult to revise for it as you won't know what the texts will be on so past papers would be the way to go. Good luck on your GCSEs I'm sure you'll smash them 👍
@@Tarunuknowbitch Hey Tarun. I got a 7. If you are on about section B for writing. I would always pick the description or tell a story option as I feel like they are easier to do. In terms of structure I would plan out what I was going to say in points. So roughly plan out the story or the 3 to 4 points of what I was going to describe in the photo. I would also suggest writing a little checklist in the side of stuff you should include such as punctuation, speech marks, metaphors ,similies, personification etc. These are what will get you marks. I also suggest if you worry about time or struggle towards the end of exams to start with that question as it has the most marks. Hope this helped👍
Not sure what pob is. But my advice for maths will be to focus on the things you don't know how to do. If you are good at algebra don't do algebra but if u struggle at trigonometry then focus on that. Maths is very much practice makes perfect. If you are really unsure get your teacher to show you how to do it. Maths looks very daunting but majority of people don't ask when they are stuck. I'm sure you'll do great 👍
You'll do good. It's better to start early but I know lots of people who didn't start till days before and still did well. Its A levels where you won't get away with it as much. Good luck 👍 you'll smash them
Hey Jaey, yes btec are college courses. So.e colleges such as tech college specifically do btec courses. However some colleges only do a levels. You will have to look around your local area to see what college offers btecs. Hope this answers your question. If you want more help let us know. 👍
this has been really helpful thankyou! just something to add - irrelevant to the context of the vid - but maybe add text to your videos to add more to it, but otherwise this really helped.
