I just got both the cata and the quest done by getting jackpot :) Did a cata run an hour later, which works perfectly in 6s and comp as well. So far, the players I've encountered were pretty decent and told me that it literally can out gun 340 pulse if it's in a mid distance. Intrinsic perk with Desperation is too OP, legit slaps so hard that you can hear the scream of players that got slapped through the headphones xD Ngl, it's totally worth farming for. It took me for about 6 weeks and 23 runs to get all 35 to drop at once, but legit it's one of the best weapons to go for if you're a Trials / Comp main or a casual that grinds solo content Edit: made an UPDATE
I keep seeing people upload about this auto now but it’s all pc, it’s very shaky and questionably inconsistent on console/controller, which they helped it out with that on console because it can really change the ttk due to missed shots or the scope being higher than where it’s actually shooting due to the archetypes odd flinch + recoil, I do still like the weapon tho so I’m not saying it shouldn’t be used on console
It should be in line to return sooner rather than later. Shadow price returned, so that's an indicator. Just hopefully it doesnt get the shadowprice perk treatment 😅
I remember a very cold and snowy weekend me and 2 friends farmed the arms dealer gm 100 times and I had 30 adept palindromes and I never got the roll I wanted but I still have 3 in my vault. Very good feeling hand cannon. Great gameplay.
I recently returned to the game and I still use pali, it’s still amazing in pvp. Though I have no idea why they would nerf rangefinder, but add in a shit ton of ability spam builds. Idk wtf bungie is smoking
They are going to being it back. Palindrome is in the boat of "bring back to save the game" vault. Its going to be a last ditch effort to being people who previously quit back
It would be the only 140 in the game with PI and I think it would be a waste of a perk. It def wouldn’t change the TTk and I don’t even think it would change the crit requirement. You would still need 3 head shots. 120’s BARELY allow you to 2 crit 1 body with PI.. and that’s only low resiliences. High resil is a guaranteed counter. I guess PI would extend the range a little for 140’s, but so many better HC perks… ie. Slideshot, opening shot, rapid hit, explosive payload, eye of the storm, zen moment, moving target, keep away, literally every good handcannon perk that isn’t on the original Pali
