I’ve lost all respect for Julie Andrews. After being in Healthcare Since 1986, I do not believe there is anyway she was not told of the risks of surgery or had to sign all the surgical release forms. I also Do not believe she was told there could be no risk. All surgeries have potential risks, and we’ve known that way longer than 1986. Her surgery in 1997 must have had complications, since no doctor, or human can guarantee how a body will react after surgery. If there was true negligence, I could understand, but it is 99.9% of the time that the patient is in denial, can not accept reality, can not accurately remember events and has a need to blame. It is shameful when this happens. Lawsuits are a way of life in America, by weak individuals who have no respect for reality. There is no surgery for Humans mammals and singers, that does not have risks and potential complications.
You sure are making a lot of assumptions for something that you were not involved in at all. Pretending that medical malpractice is fake is the real delusion.
Thank you, Anders! As a fellow Swede I have succeeded in taping some of the Julie-related programmes that Swedish TV showed, but this one I´ve never seen before! It was wonderful!
Imagine having to LIVE with the fact that you're the surgeon who RUINED Julie Andrew's voice? Julie Andrews is AMAZING to have picked herself up after such devastation.
She's so wonderful. Her singing voice was heavenly and it's sad that it was robbed of her so soon, but I'm glad she ultimately made peace with it and found other ways to make an impact.
The Director of My Fair Lady did not want Julie as he thought her not a big enough name to draw the crowds. Audrey hepburn could not sing & her voice was dubbed.
If Julie played Eliza on screen, she would be a nobody playing the role she originated. Mary Poppins brought her the stardom to then do Sound of Music and her career soared...
Julie, I followed your career for many, many years, so now I'm 70 years old, I loved your singing, your voice, your interpretations, everything anyway, but what I love most about you is your charisma, your joy stamped on your smile and in the eyes...this charisma Julie Andrews makes you what you are - a wonderful Human Being who captivated the World and generations. For me, you are and always will be Julie Andrews, the English, who made me smile even in the face of the difficulties of my life! Thank you Julie for all these years and for those to come! Happy New Year, may we continue to be warriors! HAPPY 2022! I'm just a descendant of Italians, no family, physically handicapped, but happy, very very Happy, living in the capital of São Paulo, Brazil.
Decía que sólo hay mujeres en ese reportaje (demasiadas!). Y si no se habla más que del pasado, pierde interés. También se está publicitado el libro de la hija de Julie: Emma Walton.
Julie can outsmart anyone who challenges her, acting as if they rise earlier in the morning than she does. And she does it with such quickness and ease. Nice!
