This is our channel for riding videos, videos of our electric bikes, electric enduros and electric motorcycles. We'll also be adding support videos as we make them and who knows, maybe some training videos too.
Sabvoton 150, but more important are the battery draw capabilities. That battery was capable of 200a draw. Since the battery is the most expensive piece most make the mistake of upgrading the controller or motor, when really they need to start with a high draw battery system.
As someone that has been building high powered ebikes as a hobby it's cool to hear about plans to manufacture and innovate from the USA. Might be a good idea to look into urban markets like NYC with a huge EV delivery workforce of 65k+ depending on chinese lithium batteries. Graphene batteries in NYC for EV delivery bikes would solve most of the fire safety issues. I'm m sure there are deep pockets here that would be interested.
I like this channel. Good conversation and forward thinking of the industry. There are enough review and tips channel but this helps talking about the industry without any visual distractions. - subscribed!
This tariff needs to go away . Its an innovation-startup killer . All neodymium magnet manufacturing is in china . Its not only because they have the ore . Ore is actually imported for processing. the processing process was developed there . Pluss almost all the batteries are made in china and all the companies willing to deal in smaller quantities are . Try buying Lifepo cells that don't come from china .
We don’t yet have a list of HTS codes from Customs and Border Protection, the agency tasked with handling US imports and exports. Without that detailed list, it’s impossible to know which EVs will be caught up in the tariffs.
The list of what's not getting exemption any longer was released, electric motorcycles and oddly garage door openers are losing exemptions. E-motorcycles are classified as EVs.
Doubt this will be long term. Most car has parts from China (even Ford & GM). Delineating Chinese vs American will be difficult for the administration.
Isn’t Honda USA making an electric motorcycle? Also, thought certain parts are made out of Australia, Croatia, etc. don’t think they’re subject to that tariff. Also, if Mexico is smart, they should start manufacturing these electric products.
I got to see a proto of Honda's dirt bike. I'd say go Stark Varg, way better. It's like how Kawasaki came out with a "ninja" electric totally unworthy of the moniker. None of them want to cannibalize their ICE bike sales, even though all the tech is available to do so. Croatia? Australia? Easier to just make the stuff here. ;)
@@e-powersport thanks for the feedback. Wonder if tariffs would be imposed on electric motors like the Varg, Honda, KTM freeride, electric motion, etc.
@@Alex-oy6wb yep if it comes from China, and eventually from a Chinese owned company, it will have tariffs imposed. It doesn't matter who wins the election. Ultimately, the approach is to force US manufacturing. Other than the government, and they don't make it easy, investors are gun shy at the concept.
Sure what company is that? 😂. You missed my reply earlier. Aren't any that won't be affected by the tariffs. I've been working to align a fully US built manufacturing facility but it's amazingly difficult
Chinese manufacturers will adjust their prices lower, this is a silly game. At the start of this year battery prices absolutely crashed and made a lot of high density batteries affordable. Would love to see more done in the US but the local market isnt as competitive as a global one. The real war is on chinese EVs, Biden needs to protect the union run US manufacturers from having to compete in the free market. I can appreciate that we dont want to rely on China for something as critical as battery infrastructure, in the future military vehicles will require this, the US is already behind the curve on drone technology which we're seeing is becoming critical in modern warfare in Ukraine/Israel.
I'm already getting notices of price increases on units from suppliers. It doesn't look like they'll be lowering prices in response. Quite the opposite, if you research you'll see, China is planning and responding. Their current economy is in recession and they need to bring in foreign currency to hold up their current debts/economic infra and general currency value. Some of my suppliers have even stopped allowing receive then pay and others are taking terms down from 90-30 days.
Been thinking about opening an E-bike Sales, Service and Rental store here in Illinois for the last year, but with many states/cities restricting or limiting e-bikes and now with the tariff changes, I don't know if it's going to be a good idea.....🥺😡
From a business analyst perspective, I wouldn't recommend it at the moment in the US. E-bikes could face the 25% tariff due to components. Doing what you do on RU-vid, lots of these companies probably throw bikes at you to review. Especially, now. You have less overhead, better # of low cost revenue channels. Keep using the affiliate links, you can make a bunch of referral cash and let the manufacturer do the heavy lifting of after sales support.
@@E-Ryders there's US made ebikes? 😂. There's no company here assembling ebikes, that doesn't get something from China on the tariff list. Monday Motorbikes, almost nothing from China, but the motors and batteries. Really solid. But not many, even Onyx went bye bye, actually make them in the US
Great video with great points, I completely agree its unfortunate that as a people our need for a deal is driving away the services we need and in some instances spawn markets for niches that shouldnt even exist leading to loads of ewaste and rubber/resin waste for products that are never bought. Looking forward to seeing these changes!
Instead of blaming the consumer for trying to use well their hard earned money, we should point at the root of the problem which is rampant greed and inflation within the bike industry overall. I won't hear excuses for any of it, they should NOT be costing anywhere close to what they do, the market and marketing from the top down needs a hard crash and reset imho. Until then it's as you said, tons of waste everywhere, tons of money cast into the void.
@@FatYokel you're talking about Trek, Specialized and similar. I deal in bikes people can afford and people will still go DTC and expect us to be around to help. At the bike shop, it's not about greed, it's about being around tomorrow to be able to help riders
seriously, when does rumble's cycles start production ? it's like a Catch-22 nobody wants to buy a bike /technology , they dont trust .. but nobody can learn to trust a bike/technology , they can't buy..
It’s coming and it’s awesome that’s what was important for us to get my biz partner Tom out there. Life long engineer in electronics and he confirmed and is flipping over the moon 👍
@@e-powersport i only keep asking , because i really think you guys are on to something...i think it'll be rough early on but i think in the end you might change things good luck with everything !!
There's some overlap between cafe racer and brat styles. There's even brat cafe racers out there. Usually when the smaller roundish front is put on it tends to be identified as a cafe racer.
if they make a graphene SUR-RON battery ... you'll sell a literal ton . i'm still hoping rumble starts rolling these bikes soon ...really interested in a apex predator ..and in the future .. a henzo :)
@@e-powersport cool :) i think for adaptation purposes ,,, catering to the current mainstream , could only help ..also nyc riders would be able to breathe a sigh of releif :)
@@davep3786 I've sent emails to some of the council members offices about these Graphene batteries but no response. Seems they'd rather regulate everyone than move forward with progress.
It just looked really dark when riding and a decent amount of my riding will be around dusk. @@e-powersport Since you are here can you mention what the 170 max load is? I assume that is Kilos not lbs.
It's a thumb throttle. Regen will apply automatically when you slightly engage the brakes. As you squeeze more it engages the regular brakes. Doesn't kick in till you go over 20mph at starting.
@@polomarco2573 cool, the ones here are 10kw, just depends on if you have 1 or 2 batteries connected. 1 battery lower power output, 2 batteries full power output. Otherwise the ES1 is the same as the ES1x. Which the X never got to the stated top speed, could barely get it to 60mph
@@e-powersport I have two batteries, but only one connected. I can’t find how to connect them together. The 125cc equivalent have 2 batteries and they are connected together with 1 cable. But this cable doesn’t fit in my batteries, not the same connector.
Hit me up at info@e-powersport.com I will want to know where you got it from. I know the CEO and he really wants dealers that will appropriately support these.
Good question, so far with the riding I’ve done it would probably get 30 miles at 65mph, on a charge with the 72v 40ah battery. Easy to swap a second battery and charges in less than 3 hours.
@@tommym3876 we’ve got ones cheaper and better than the Ultra Bee. Plus, we have them, been getting calls by people looking for the Ultra but can’t find
