Night Manor and Magic Garden are brilliant. The Big Bell Race is one of my favourites too. I played a lot of Pilot Quest and got the ending thinking I'd be able to get the cherry afterwards but the game resets your progress after the end so I guess I'm not getting that cherry...
interesting I Think Porgy is the only one from you list I would put im my top list. Im all about moon cat atm. havent played night manor yet looking forward to that.
Saddened there is no Lords of Diskonia in the list. Not much people talk about it, but it's one of the best strategies/air hockey games in the collection.
Thank you for this video! Loved looking forward to UFO 50, and while I haven’t picked it up yet, it’s definitely gonna hangout in my wishlist until I can 💜
I have played around 30 games so far! My top 5 so far would be: 1. Vainger: Gravity flipping metroidvania. My favorite so far and would be even better if I could check the map all the time. 2. Mortol: Platformer puzzle where your lives are the way to move forward. The first game I finished. 3. Campanella: Really fun platformer and feels so much like a game from the 80s that went huge when it came out and I love it. 4. Camouflage: Great puzzle game, relatively easy but still a fun experience. 5. Attactics: Not a fan of RTS games and I'm not sure this is the correct genre for this game but moving my army around to defend myself and plan my next move is extremely addicting.
you must be THE one single Golfaria fan out there haha I have some games left to try, but so far I like Velgress and Rail Heist the most. Avianos was fun too.
These games look really fun. I wanted to be hyped for this game but it seemed quite intimidating to me so this video was really informative for me. Some of these games look like a good pick up and play thing, they would be so good on mobile. Is Campenella like a fleshed out game based around the Flappy Bird mechanic?
it is intimidating, but in the best way possible! just remember that you don't have to like/play every game. just focus on what's the most fun for you. and yes, i suppose Campanella is kinda similar to Flappy Bird... a bit easier to navigate though :p
(Creator of the game here) Thank you for this video and good feedbacks, I'm so happy to hear that the new art style and the demo did not disappointed you !! Your video is perfect I love how you explain the game !
I think its important to note that before chapter 1 starts your character has been wandering around trying to find the owl for 253 years, then when you enter the tunnel at 7:13 he wanders those tunnels for another 5 years. He even mentions in disappointment that after that nice place it's just nothing. This place is a huge nothing spaghetti.
Time loop games (assuming this is one, although will clearly more to it) always go hard. Outer Wilds, The Forgotten City, etc. Hope this one goes just as hard.
I fear that Rare has fallen prey to moneygrabbers, women & LGTB types.. Just like western society, when you let people take over who can't build & maintain themselves, it will be over FAST! Cut off the leeches and return to your core, again & again.
I´m glad I´m living through the climbcore indiegame era. Beton Brutal, Peaks of Yore and now this (I know there is much more, but these are my favorite). Love it
