L’Institut suédois, logé depuis 1971 dans l’un des plus beaux hôtels particuliers de Paris, propose chaque année de nombreuses expositions, concerts, ateliers, débats, projections… À travers une programmation contemporaine, des cours de langue, une collection d’œuvres classiques, des résidences pour chercheurs et artistes suédois, l’Institut suédois aspire à être un lieu de rencontre entre la France et la Suède.
Great presentation and I really enjoyed that discussion afterwards. Even now, there's so little to watch and read on Fini. That Yvan Butler video (mentioned) is excellent though, truly... it has the most amazing "So What?" comment, made while LF's head moves into incrementally different positions in a mirror; "I paint mostly women because they are a projection of myself. That's a basic truth. Because I am mostly interested in myself, and women are me." Looking forward to the book.
