But this right here is right bang in the middle of it, 1985. So the term has been around at least as far back as 85.

I had to laugh when they said the Billy Gordon Record goes for $125. After I went to the showing at AFI Theater, I went on Ebay and picked up a new copy of the record for $9.99. There is a pre-owned copy on Ebay right now for $5.
