30:01 Listen here, he mentions "hair metal". I don't remember when I first heard this description but I have heard people arguing this was a newer term that came about after the "hair metal" heyday. But this right here is right bang in the middle of it, 1985. So the term has been around at least as far back as 85.

I had to laugh when they said the Billy Gordon Record goes for $125. After I went to the showing at AFI Theater, I went on Ebay and picked up a new copy of the record for $9.99. There is a pre-owned copy on Ebay right now for $5.

That's me! I'm the first victim of Mal's in downtown somewhere on Market Street in 1984... it was truly surreal.

There's a wonderful, albeit short, interview with Mal Sharpe in the Fresh Air Archives. Just search Mal Sharpe. Thank you for positing this. It's good to put a face to the voice.

4:55 Being french, I appreciate the posters on the wall ! 🥰🥰🥰 TCSM has been released in 1982 in France. For many years, the movie was banned by 4 or 5 ministers (Culture). Then, the Left came to power. The censorship and the long waiting made my first viewing so intense.😱

this is an awesome video man! can't find hardly any interviews with Jim Siedow and he's a legend. What a gem of a video for 94, camcorder paid off

Every year back when 98 Rock in Baltimore was good (the Kirk, Mark, and Lopez) days they would play this ‘public service announcement’ and it’s still every bit as hysterical as it is. This one is a shorter form of it, but is still ridiculously funny.
