Tjena, jag laddar upp diverse roliga klipp samt busringningar. de flesta busringningarna är gjorda av EUROCOP radio - www.eurocop.nu - och inte av mej!
Omg the beginning part - Ollie yells for Stan with such fear and emotion and you can see the fire return to his eyes as he tries to break down the door to reach Stan … a rare moment where he puts on full display how much he loves and needs Stan. Oliver Hardy had amazing dramatic acting skills as well as comic timing.
While much of the scene makes you laugh, the part where Ollie cries out for Stan shows off Hardy's dramatic-acting skills. When I first saw this film, Ollie's cryout for Stan sent shivers up my back. These two guys were the greatest type of comedians - they were excellent actors.
I always choke up when I see Ollie pounding on the door for Stan. When all is said and done, they were always there for one another at the end of the day.
Early attempt at colorizing, circa 1980's, I guess, which fails. This was done to alot of old b&w movies, mostly via Ted Turner's ill-advised tinkering, becoming all the rage for awhile. I never cared for the colorizing-craze, as the technology behind it was primitive, creating a weird, unreal look, contributing nothing. This is a very funny scene, though, regardless. I'm a huge L&H fan but this clip, and the film it's from, remains a mystery to me. Truly delightful discovery!
I know Stan's crying is played for comedy but this is one of those moments where his crying came off to the point you just want to help him....after he takes care of his 'water problem' of course.
