I've got a grin from ear to ear. I have only discovered all this footage of Journey videos and such in the past month, and am soooooo enjoying it. I saw Journey in 1980-81 and it was some of the best times of my life.♥
Again, another powerful execution of AP to demonstrate his vocal ability! I lived through SP years-- have seen SP on Concerts-of course, he's The Voice.-BUT since SP left the band-, for 3 decades--I move on--- now, I support and admire AP! Journey's song legacy moves on with AP help !! * I agree with N Schon when he took AP as their replacement -- such a blessing,!! ---AP brought true and NEW life back to the band that was certain floundering when SP left !! ** When it comes to LIVE Concerts of Journey-- I have to go for Arnel Pineda's 100 % !! AP totally rocks the hell out of crowds with his stage presence and energy and has that goosebumps power ballad performances each time !! !! He's been loved also by the young generation -- all over the world where he performed Journey LIVE Concerts !! Talking about vocal struggling at times by some bashers out there--- Of course, it can happen in LIVE Concerts-- we are talking about LIVE Concerts here!!!!- - It happens to some rock Concerts that I saw on LIVE Tour Concerts such as Rod Stewart, Phil Collins, Steve Tyler--- their Concerts are so rigorous and brutal-including Journey! ----there are many factors that can cause it, illness, sudden change of weather, etc(BTW--they are also humans, NOT robots !)..- BUT that does not mean that you don't have a great time on LIVE !! On the contrary--Their performances are always amazing !! +++++, For those people who only saw videos of LIVE Concerts-- they should try watching Journey's LIVE Concert with AP-- it's the real deal !! - incredible performance each time !! AP has that tenor unique masculine voice that has a natural rasp that makes it amazing !! He masters the song perfectly and is able to sing like in-studio recording while he is doing Concerts on LIVE---night after night!!! AP"s vocal versatility, talent, and unbelievable energy are the fuel that keeps the Journey Concert rocking for many years!! Can't wait to see Journey Concert with AP again--SOON!!
This was a great and unique album for this band. It’s just so sad when I look at this video interviews and think of what could have been. 1996 was supposed to be a tremendous come back for journey. Steve Perry will always be the best part of journey am I honest opinion. In his prime I don’t think there was ever a better male vocalist ever. His voice was simply stratospheric!

Ohhh,these boys were drunk ,too funny,I had a good friend who served in the Vietnam Conflict,he had his R@R in Japan and saw Journey,he said Steve Perry never stopped moving ,he was jumping all over that stage,I’m so glad The Voice is back singing again,he sounds just as we as he did years ago .

They're so adorable... great talents who took their professions seriously when it came time, but in this moment having a chance to just chill, drink, relax, and cut-up! The chemistry between them, the way they're drunk and laughing at each other, just too cute! ESPECIALLY WHEN NEAL MESSES UP STEVE'S HAIR AND STEVE FIXES IT... LOVE IT!!!
