the US prioritized helping Japan from the ravage of ww2. the United States began the process of helping to bring Japan back into the international community by strengthening military, political and economic ties while it only gave the Philippines economic aide. even today, filipinos need to get US/Japan visa to visit the their countries while US/Japan needs no visa to visit each other. most of all US/Japan needs no visa to get to Philippines. fair enough do you think?

I was in Cu Chi 1965-66. This is a joke. I was a combat infantryman/interpreter. I was a young slender person at the time. Those tunnels were made during the French Colony days, the Japanese days, again the French days again, end then the Americans. The Viet Minh continued to make the complex bigger. If you were bigger than 135 pounds you would not fit the tunnels unless you found a major entrance. This is all about tourism today. Get real and research true facts,
I get angry 😡 when our Ancestors are referring as slaves, truth is they were not slaves, they did live with their family 👪 some are 👑 queen's and King's, Princess 👸 and Prince before they took them to all corners of the earth 🌍 to used them as slaves , stupid fools who 🤮 commit this crimes should be ashamed of themselves.
Been there last week. A big thumbs up for the Vietnamese people who fought the mighty Americans. Eventually won the war. Most saddest part is the amount of destruction around ch chi tunnels. Deformed babies, cancer patients, unexplored arsenal, the list is endless. One should visit the war remnants museum in Saigon to truly understand the price paid by the Vietnamese people. It would take half a day. Anger, agony, sadness and finally helplessness. War for whom and why ?
The Biden`s government was trained Ukrainian army became Guerilla warfare as Like Vietnamese army but today the Ukrainian Army fight as Like Terro Taliban don`t as like Vietnmese army
The Treaty of Paris is illegal and should have been voided by the League of Nations. The Philippines declared its independence on June 12, 1898. It had a functioning government, a treasury, a means to collect taxes from its citizens, etc. Spain had no legal rights to sell the Philippines to the Americans under the Paris agreement which was signed in December of 1898. Filipino legal scholars were sent to file a formal protest to the treaty but was ignored by the Americans. The tragedy that befell the Philippines during the Japanese invasion would have been avoided had the Americans not been in the Philippines. The more than 240,000 Filipinos that were killed during the war would have been avoided. Its a sad tragedy that we Filipinos had no part of.
That's one thing too cuz Japan even wanted to support the Philippine revolutionary government during the Philippine-American war. We could just simply switch side in ww2 just like what Thailand did
