Wow! Put yarn in a shoulder bag or hip bag (that you wear) and go outside! You can't control/adjust your pace on the treadmill. Granny Squares, coasters, hats & dishcloths are good walking projects.
I’ve been doing it since I was little so if you can crochet with out looking at your project and trust you won’t make a mistake by feeling the yarn as you go, you will then be able to walk and crochet as the next stage.
Maybe try stretching or squats instead? Or a stationary bike? 😂. We live in a productivity driven society lol! It’s ok to crochet siting down you know? Just make sure you also go for a walk daily! ❤
Stop focusing on walking and crocheting think about nothing if the treadmill is on your will automatically walk then when you zone out while walking you you can crochet or practice walking about the house while crocheting first
This is a great reason to keep doing it! Because then you’ll get better at it! Doing something you aren’t great at is something more people need to do Because then you are taking your weakness, and training to be better at it! You may feel uncoordinated now but if you keep going I’m sure you’ll feel so proud of how that will change! Its okay not to be great at something, but its not a good idea to avoid things that are difficult! Keep up the good work!
