Well I attempted it alone and it’s so time consuming not worth it at all. Next time I’ll keep my sanity and pull the engine. Such a pain in the ass

I’m doing one right now. Just curious as to if you used all genuine Polaris parts or aftermarket and what were your ring gaps set to?

To add to my other comment above… I found the easiest way to remove the top bolt is to go in from the rear. Remove the radiator, remove the fan blade, remove the alternator, and then you can reach it with a 24” extension. My impact wouldn’t break it loose, so I ended up having to use a breaker bar and do it by hand.

This is an Italian tractor. The bolts are all metric. No inch sizes.

If this helps anyone else… there is a much easier way to get the bottom bolt. You just need to take the bottom panel off, and you can easily get to the bolt from underneath. I just used my loader to lift up the rear end enough to block underneath it and crawl under. For me I had the same starter and position but it was on a Gehl r190 with Yanmar engine.
