i remember we had a clock that everytime the second hand got to the 2 if fell and swung back and forth between 8 and 4 then it stopped on 7 and kept on going.
I wonder why everyone didnt remember the announcement about the testing. When I was in high school a morning announcement was made before school started about the fire alarms being tested. And a few hours later they sounded. Then we realized an announcement was made about the testing but another announcement was made anyway. I always hated when the fire alarms were either being tested or worked on while I was in school.
we have the same PA tone too!!!LOL our school did that 5 times one day. They were doing construction down the road and they ruptured a water line that went to our school and changed the pressure in the sprinkler system and triggered off the alarms. the water pressure kept fluctuating so it kept setting of the alarm!
@HighlandsHSman they just now put in digital clocks. last year they had battery operated clocks like in the middle school. but the new digital clocks work only in some rooms.
Normally when testing is done everyone is alerted prior to testing. We did have a case when I was in high school where they forgot to announce that testing with the fire alarms was taking place when they were testing the pull stations. Then after the first test it didnt sound for a while then an announcement came on that fire alarm testing was taking place and we were to disregard the fire alarms.
Where I live they test the fire alarms every month in my school (usually early to get it over with or late because they forgot) but never test any sort of sirens here.
i remember this. I was a freshman at the time. The auditorium was under renovation. That's y they were testing the sprinkler system. But yea that would have been a cool video. lol
