Nice fun drone to fly , tried it once at a seafront quarry but only barely got around 7min flight out of it manual before battery almost dead and had to land, keeping it though for when battery tech gets better. Did not think people still flew them. anycase I think it better than their Avata drones even that new Avata 2.
yeah its definately a rush flying it. I just got another battery so have 4 now, going to get another 2... its still not bad considering most fpvs dont go much more than a few minutes. Im loving it
this is after i had crashed doing a corkscrew and hit the ground which in turn smashed the board inside the landing gear giving me only half the signal strength. Luckily I have hacked it to FCC mode (very easy just look up avata 2 fcc hack and gett the config_sys_ham file (it might not be exactly that). have now replaced board with new parts and was able to easily reach 2km, after not even being able to reach 300m after the crash.
figured out how to go slow and low without increasing altitude... not easy. but love the simulator is exactly the same as real life. hence the reason i havnt crashed it
Thanks, you too!. Can only get better from here. Thankfully I used the simulator for a couple of weeks before trying this. Else no chance I wouldn't of crashed that's a guarantee.
DjI is amazing. The simulator is exactly the same as real life. I'm very impressed. This is my first flight in complete full manual in real life. And the transition from simulator to reality is unnoticeable except for the unlimited battery in the sim! M
