No you don’t wanna wash your deck with fresh water from your tanks that’s for hands and showers raw water is for the decks for blood until you get home then fresh water from your hose at the dock to rinse salt off but you don’t waste good water on washing blood off the decks.
We are a 5 Star Yamaha dealer so it one of our services to do the initial break in to make sure everything is working properly on the boat and engine. You would be surprised how many systems aren’t hooked up correctly and how many connections need to be verified to make sure there aren’t any leaks etc.
If you aren’t moving the heading sensor can’t detect which direction you are moving so it keeps trying to adjust. This only happens when it is in heads up, if it was in north up you wouldn’t get that.
I believe this boat was either the 36v 96" Rhodan or the Minn Kota Terrova 36v 87". I don't remember specifically, but either of those should work in a 2-3' sea on the Pursuit DC266
Good question. This video was made a while ago and we need to update it. I am assuming he meant to go through Okeechobee and up the west coast?? Thank you for your comment.
If you haven't done so, you should take a tour of their new facility and see the engineering behind the product. I think you may change your opinion at some point during that tour.
@@stephenj8576 Look around there are A LOT of similar boats available and the quality has been stepped up. Pursuit boats are very nice but at a premium cost for not Blackfin like quality. Which are also overpriced. There are really nice boats available for 40,60,80$ thousand less or more. If you haven’t looked you should. I like Pursuit boats but not enough to pay that significant a difference
All boats are over priced. It does not matter what size they are. Inflation is part of it and greed is the other. It's only a rich mans hobby these days.
The team at Pursuit engineer their products around specific engines and power packages. While you may be fine putting 800hp on the back, the boat was built intentionally around the 4.2L V6 300's. The new 300's Yamaha just released do a very nice job of pushing this boat. Not the fastest to plane, but once on a plane, this boat performs very well. It is one of our dealerships best selling models.
i wonder if the change id due ti water ingestion in hard reverse. i killed my f300..and maybe its coincidence....but busted 2 lower cylinders right after backing down hard...water was coming into splash well....just wondering
This may be a dumb question but this cable connects directly from the yamaha multi-bus to the chartplotter correct. Just ordered one but wanted to make sure i didnt need anything else. Thanks
I have a 1243xsv and im looking to do this also for engine data. I dont have a NMEA 2000 hub. Is thr yamaha multi bus on the engine or under the console usually? Im clueless.
Over 500k for for a 3 year old boat. Geez, what a croc. It's going to be great watching the boating industry crumble from outright greed. Keep hiking those interest rates, so only the 5%er's can go enjoy 2 fish a day limits.
@@YamahaMarineCenterJacksonville Glad for you all, you found a sucker. I was in the boating industry back in the 80's and have owned a few boats in the past. IMO, the industry will price themselves out of the market. Housing just starting to take hits now, and not enough big bucks floating in a shrinking market. There will be another huge market crash, just a matter of time. By the way, had 2 Yammie f150's on my last CC and love those engines. Maintained them myself, and put over 750 hours on them in 2 years. Never a problem. They purrrrrrr....
The boat doesn’t need much trim to get it to perform properly. It would be nice to plane on one engine. We have several boats we sell that won’t. Pursuit, Regulator, Parker, and Tiara all have models that won’t plane on a single engine.
Depending on options, the boat MSRP is around $250,000. The engine, again depending on rigging, is around $50k. That boat will be in the mid 40 knot range depending on conditions.
@@jimelmore9728 We just received 2024 pricing. Shoot me a request here and I can send you the MSRP build sheet. www.yamahamarinejax.com/sales-appointment
We got a robalo r200 with 140 hrs 2015 at the beginning of 2020 for 30k I look online now and the same boat sells used for 45k it’s just crazy that boats and vehicles have absurd prices now
I worked at Seminole Marine in Cairo, GA building Sailfish and Southwind boats for a couple years before moving down to Edgewater and built those boats as well as working for Brunswick on Boston Whalers. When I moved to Ocala and started out at the new company called Crevalle I was very impressed with what they already had going for them being a newer company. Sadly some of the crew I worked with were not on the same page and things got nasty a few times. You do not cut corners to save time EVER. I left there and about a year and a half later returned but sadly the crew team lead was still there so was rough again from the start. I only lasted a year this time before throwing in the towel as not repairing damaged molds for a year and just PATCHING EVERY PART was slowing us down yet boat sales were increasing. The damage in need of repair was minimal on the mold but complex on the part and could have been done in one weekend. Never given the go so the go was me. I hope it has been fixed by now and they get a better team lead to pull them back up because they are great boats. Located in Wildwood, FL behind Russell Stover Chocolate on 44. I now do side work repairing and modifying boats as well as winterizing for those that want it down here. Come to you and free estimates.
It is a tough industry. I appreciate the perspective. We have been a dealer for Crevalle since the beginning. They have had some growing pains, but they have come a long way at the same time.
