Imagine that, making a minimum of 6 figures out of Under Grad and being expected to be a PROFESSIONAL and be on time to meetings and dress in business attire. The 3rd point is wild, then big boys need to at least be in business class for flights.
I get being on time for meetings, but getting fined potentially 20-30% of your total salary that year because you maybe got stuck in traffic or whatever is literally insane for anybody. Also I never understood the whole wearing suits thing for football players. It’s kind of silly and is just an old tradition that holds no real practical purpose other than to “show how professional you are” which is just dumb
@@Aschuff22 that’s some real entitled ranting. Majority of these guys are making more than 90%…again…straight out of undergrad. It’s not a lot to ask that they show up on time and dress up in suit.
Awwww. You had to wear a suit!!!! Oh no!!! You had to be on time for work!!!! You had to travel abroad!! What an absolutely miserable life you have had!!
They also only have 11-14 players on their team. Coaches, managers and PT staff total you're looking at less than 30 people. An NFL team has over 53 players just as an active roster, plus coaches and coordinators. Not including medical staff and equipment. It's a lot easier to travel in style when there's only 14 people compared to 53. Also in the NBA you can definitely be fined for being late to meetings or practice. It all depends on the coaches and the team owners.
The food is pretty much even IMO, but pointing out sea food is wild. The north Atlantic has incredible seafood that is brought to NYC daily. The true issue for NY is the stadium and hotels are in NJ and the city is pretty far away.
He means the term "Cali," anyone from here knows nobody actually says it but when other people say it to us it can get so stuck in out heads we use it accidentally 😭
This game actually shows how great this redskins team was in that after getting blown out by such a great score that the skins could come back the next year and beat the bears in the 42 championship game. This 73-0 blowout is a lesson in character and fortitude that todays teams lack and would not recover from.
You're only making that money for a decade or two at most and then you have to make it last for another 40+ years unless you feel like picking up another job
You could have upgraded your self. I use to do it on short flight from LA to San Francisco. It was only 20 bucks more and that was in the 90’s. Its only 35 bucks today.
You say sports and football multiple times in this video. Im guessing you mean pro sports, because this is not the most lopsided score OR the biggest margin of victory in a shutout in sports, or football for that matter. There have been at least 2 in college football that i can think of off the top of my head that beat this game. Georgia tech beat Cumberland College 222-0 in 1916. And Oklahoma beat Texas A&M 77-0 in 2003. I watched the OU and A&M game. They mentioned that Georgia Tech and Cumberland game during the broadcast
It never happens now because teams pull their starters after they get 3-4 touchdowns ahead. Beating an NFL team 73-0 today would be controversial, i.e., "running up the score."
This dude is doing nothing but just crying about having to be responsible 😂 Are you kidding? Or are you just that much of a lousy person? You get to play for a career... play. Is there hard work that goes into it? Yes, but it is still playing. You still get to play for a living. On top of that , the n f l minimum is three hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year, with a lot of these guys being millionaires. There is literally nothing to complain about. But he still wants to be a baby about all this. Be a grown adult and show up on time. Period. That one is not hard. Be a professional and present yourself that way ( Don't complain about having to buy a suit when you make as much as you do). What the hell kind of person are you? If you cannot be grateful for the extreme goodness, you've been set up with in life. You literally get to live a life that other guys just dream about.... And you're complaining 🙄 This is exactly why I cannot stand people sometimes
Jesus Christ can you be more of a diva all players should be forced to wear suits at public appearances boo boo you didn't get to fly first class Y'all disgust me to be honest
Excess growth hormone causes side effects such as: Thickening of bones in the jaws, fingers and toes. The heavy jaw and large digits that result is referred to acromegaly !
Hell, I’m 5’11 and 180 lbs. When I get home from the airport I have to lie on the floor and stretch out. Hot shower too. Those O-line guys must have been in extreme physical pain and then they had to go play a football game.
